9.05 valor system is a giant waste of time

That’s their problem, they should stop charging $15 per month then. They continue to charge, so I will continue saying that they have too little content and their lame attempts to compensate with bs difficulty levels are bs. People will continue to leave the game as well.

Its your problem. Its low acessability and coviniece but lasting content or having acessability but no content to do. So make your choice. You cant have both.

We’ll see whose problem this (the devs being inept and lazy) was when WoW will stop bringing money and Blizzard will have to fire like half of the team. I’ll be happy to move to other games, Blizzard on the other hand will not have much fun.

Titanforging would make it worse, we’ve finally gotten rid of it.
The nerf to gear drops and ilvl drops in m+ have absolutely 0 to do with titanforging

Just copy paste the pvp gearing system onto m+ (so basically vendors for gear and upgradeable gear) and you’re done, that’s all they’d need to do if the amount of PvE-ers in PvP is any proper indication, everything after that is just tweaking numbers (VP cost for items and upgrades as well as VP rewarded for activities)

It is a waste of time. I could see it a mile off. It’s too time gated in two senses:

  • VP cap is low
  • You can’t spam upgrade many pieces like you can in PVP.

VP system still leaves rated PVP providing the better route.

M+ is still heavily gated as ever by RIO and people only wanting meta specs, it changed nothing there. Drop rates were not raised in M+ either. Only raid drops got a slight increase.

The fact you have to obtain your BiS gear all over again is down to lazy programming. As an Arcane mage, it took me AGES to obtain BiS gear for her. I got so many Fire/Frost equipment along the way.

So as a PVE player who does M+ and partial HC raids I will say this: AH is still my best upgrade route. Lol.

What I don’t understand is why is the system M+ exclusive. Valor upgrades would have been great for people who don’t run M+ or are behind on gear (alts, new players, people with busy schedules etc), but now all it does is make the ilvl gap wider and thus making it harder to get into M+ or raids.

The thing that is really starting to bother me is that this games keeps offering me less and less ways to improve my character outside of content that pretty much requires playing on schedule or being able to play uninterrupted for several hours at a time.

So true, if you can’t get into M+, then what? Rated PVP has the best gear still, but you need a good partner to play with that puts you into a do-able combo.

So outside of M+ and rated PVP which can be hard to get into… that leaves HC or higher raiding. The drop rates were only slightly improved there and raids can be just as gated PUG wise as a M+ PUG. LFR Raid? LOL, not worth the time. Ilvl is way too low.

The system literally leaves so many players gated from progressing their character.

I can definately see the biggest complaint this week.

I got valor cap but wuh ? Got no loot to upgrade time to vent and QQ on forums!

WoW will die eventually. And no this is not some other doomsayer prophecy but a simple expectation. I am not expecting my grandchildren to still see WoW “up and running” so one day it will leave the shelves. Its a natural cycle as birth and death.

As in kill 10 boars to get 233 weapon? Once you have reached your current level then its time to advance into next one. Same as a heroic raider can spam heroic clears till he vomits but eventually he will have to move onto mythic IF he wants to progress further. And thats a question IF they want to. Some are perfectly content to be heroic raiders and thus accept that they will reach the “end” sooner.

Only problems are for guys who are “swimming” in their bathtubs but are expecting to get an Olympic medal in swimming if they do it long enough.

The same happened to me the first time I watched it. I had trouble breathing for a bit.

Member the times when each new major patch meant 2-3 completly new dungeons alongside new raids ?

i member.

memeber the time casuals had fun farming JP/VP gear ?

blizzard needs to stop reinventing the already well working wheel and stop catering only to hardcore playerbase.

we had solutions that worked perfecly well in past

just copy paste them into current wow. nothing else is needed.

for some strange bizzare reason you dont have neither raids not dungeons in this scene.

only …boars.

wonder why .

The whole xpac is a giant waste of time.

10 days and my sub is over , peace!

As someone who does M+ mainly and has KSM, this will still actually help me, yes I have roughly half my gear as 226 but I also have half my gear that ranges from 200-213.

The main bit will be actually getting the drop in the first place, ~135 valor for a mythic dungeon is easily grindable.

Also remember raiding is considered the top tier of PvE content so makes sense for our top ilvls to come from there.

It’s the way they start hurdling each other when just 1 falls over :joy_cat:

what i honestly dont understand is why raiders got completly shafted. not only they wear most of their gear from GV aka m+ but also they cannot upgrade their gear if they dont farm m+

ridiculous .

Your point is? Every game has or had their no lifers as well? This is not new or WoW-unique…

You telling me pvers will be still crying?

Oh God

Our human minds may not get it, but apparently running wheels like this are something that such animals really like. They have put such wheels outdoors and wild mice and rats went right for them.
So of course they wont stop until they lose their footing

Yup. And some won’t stop until they get a mailed 233 set.

Wait nvm. They will cry that they need to go to the mailbox and get it.
