It’s a good day to wear the blue and gold…
RIP Karl Koner and Trikeyisha Helmet. They died doing what they loved
We held our line strong brother.
wait… so you’re saying it’ll have a lasting impact?
woah!! what a 180
I had a lot of fun! The march through Stormwind was enjoyable simply because of how large it got, and once people started dying the RP (both with the victims and vs the guards) became more focused and interesting too. Even managed to get one of the Royal Guards to sympathize with my char before he died!
Would riot again - Down with Mudhoof!
I usually don’t enjoy riot-styled events for some of the reasons that have already been stated and some previous riots. That said I decided to see for myself, as opposed to avoiding it and have the mindset that “yh it’s gonna be sh*t” despite not being there.
It’s easy to fade into the background when there’s so many people. It only gets enjoyable when you actively try to make something out of it yourself and go out of your way to interact with people (IE don’t expect to get spoonfed). I was approached by several people (who I can only assume were PCU) who absolutely improved my experience of the entire riot. It’s all about interaction and, as others have pointed out, the effort you put into it.
I recommend getting the Listener mod for events like these. Makes the crowded chat easier to parse. Crowds in RP become a little less daunting, then.
Sounded like a great event! I hope everyone had fun!
Well, y’all got me talking to about 15 entire people tonight, so that’s a win for someone’s books considering how I usually talk to no one. Sorry to everyone who had to deal with my completely overwhelmed takes in turn, but everyone at the Cathedral tending to the wounded was a champ.
Must say I had alot of fun at the event, even if it got a bit whacky upon nearing the keep!
Anyhow, for those of you who remember Drungan Bassi, the washed-up dwarf bombardier throwing vegetables and shouting about how the Horde stole his wife, that was me! He was prepared to end it all there on the bridge with a stick of dynamite, but a brave Stormwind citizen knocked him down into the moat, rendering Bassi washed-up both literally and figuratively, and unironically ensure the survival of this throw-away character. Who knows if he might return or not…
The noble Hrothmir marched all the way to the Keep, defended a dark iron and he was unarmed when a bloodthirsty guard finally took his head.
Tonight was quite the journey! I want to thank everyone who took the time to interact and respond to my orange-flinging girl.
Despite the brave efforts of many citizens and healers, Sally passed away within the cathedral. It was perhaps a bit large - and very primal, but it was a wonderful event and I am so glad so many people turned up for it ( PCU and otherwise )
Omg! Was it you D: Thanks alot for the amazing RP we had <3
Don’t worry, we will always remember the nameles woman
A grim business, glad to have partook as a Guard for the event. We had managed to create order. And keep it civil, besides those who had intended to do otherwise, and I for one congratulate the organisers for this rough, though eventually smooth. Event.
When the AD community bands together, we can achieve great things!
Shout-out to all the menders saving lives today!
It was a verry nice event ! I hope more events like this will happen again !

can’t believe literally everyone here is a throwaway alt! Dogthing please explain
10/10. Would preach about the light to deaf ears again.
The one and only! Although rumour has it every rioter tonight was an alt of mine.
What an absolute waste of good alts.
