people would not " stepp back into pvp " because the fomo gear is no longer fomo, they couldnt achieve it in the first instance
at best they will casually queue up and deflate the MMR over several seasons
at worst they queue up and and moan about the rating requirements to unlock the pvp elite sets
I’d love to see statistics over token buyers and that divided on a per country basis. But we are never gonna get that valuable intel.
And If the store is also there to offset that sub loss that the devil oh so choose to keep low all this time then token buyers are their own problem.
Seasonal content is a great idea, I just wish they went full D3, like having old tier/bonuses for example. PVP died with Legion so no one cares about that anyway.
Imagine if M+ could drop old tier or even recolors.
Zoomers will make up the majority of players eventually. In a few years Blizzard aren’t going to care about the remaining handful of boomers at all.

That is just such a stupid assumption, like “they couldn’t achive it in the first instance”, maybe they simply didn’t even played during a certain expansion or let alone the reward is not even worth it, as i already stated all the amazing PvP Elite sets right now are litteraly just the regular PvE Sets in a different Colour.
Which honestly speaking barely anyone cares about, as these recolours in my opinion very rarely even fit the class it’s put on, like a Green mage set?
Meanwhile we had Transforming Elite Sets during like WoD.
The amount of content they spit out it’s hard to keep up with the gearing.
Right now there’s more content and variety than there has ever been. Whether it’s solo or group content, challenging or easy.
then why arent they playing pvp right now?

Because that’s what they do. They don’t want to earn them, they want it on the trading post. Regardless of if they say they do or don’t.
Check these people’s accounts who’re asking for the elite sets to come back - They’ve never stepped foot into a battleground let alone an arena.

Don’t worry they are also moaning about the MoP and WoD Time Trial stuff and also about Legion Artefact Skins, but realise how they are Moaning about the actually cool looking stuff and not the current Dogwater recolours we have.
And let’s not act like 2K is a impossible goal to achive, if my Dumbass manages to get Challenger while first time healing in Solo Shuffle for a Week then anyone who takes PvP Seriously should be able to get that with ease.
funny enough that too is stuff i have unlocked , and id hate for that to be given out for free too
anything that requires any type of skill or effort seems to be something that these zoomers want for free
I unfortunatly spent my time on the not so legal Servers instead of Retail to get them, but oh well.
Understandable, BUT would you be open for them to be reintroduced while keeping the same Requirement? Like reaching 3K M+ score would allow you to buy them again? Since time Trial Dungeons are a thing of the past, we have to take it’s Cousine as the new thing.
I mean Magetower is already back, so there is that for the Artefact Skins.
The Skill or effort requirmenet would still be there.
i think if you achieved the top 1% like 3k score or 2700 rating in pvp
at best you could be given the chance to buy a RECOLOURED version but not the same one.
this whole arguement / debate reminds me of feminism

its ok to have things that others havent got,
i dont expect to have every M+ mount seasonal reward and im not going to moan about it on the forum until it becomes free

Cosmetics could be millions in price, doesn’t affect gameplay, there’s no problem.

PvP rewards were always said to be exclusive and they highlight those who went an extra mile of effort, and thus, is a reward for their hard earned effort.
Tons of other sets (by the way, you talk about recolors when the pvp sets are LITERALLY recolors XD, 0 sense) that you can earn.
Again, you being entitled doesn’t mean anything.
