Holidays is a work right your employer have to grants you. They are part of your salary you do whatever you want with it.
Moreover your holidays are limited, if you wish to spend your holidays to do an extremely exhausting & stressful competition thatâs on you but it is a sacrifice you choose to make compared to go spend time with your family or just relax & cool off from your work.
They donât pay Blizzard by spending their holidays doing world first wtf. They spend their time doing whatever they want, and it is wow world first competition.

I think most used 20 days of there 25 allowed days during BFA for races if not more .But its there hobby and there right to do so to have fun and most have young families and understanding partnerâs .
I actually think this is quite insulting. And far from the reality too.

i only do pugs, if i had no issues with invites. i would cap around 21 i think. maybe more but it would be a pure grind. no masochism at all. most of the time in pugs i play with much better players than you. it makes 0 difference pug or premade itâs all about comp/group chemistry in a sense âdo you work well togetherâ or not. you can work very well with random dudes and be bad âwith your friendsâ basically itâs just about skill and game understanding/view (how you see the run and what should happen)
The best artist in the world is unrecognised. The strongest human in the world has never entered the strong-man competition. The best novel sits unpublished. The most intelligent person in the world only earns minimum wage.
this is partially true, but in case of games or sport i wouldnât say it applies. because in those disciplines you need to perform (execute) and see the results.

my point is from perspective of above average player or so. not âthe bestâ the best are right there on their places in top of RIO etc. if you would be that good you would be already like in top 100 w/e on your position. and in next seasons you would get like in top 10-20. if your are REALLY good.

idk about OP opinion. but the system for sure hinders you, so itâs not about your skill but about game gatings. i mean it wastes a lot of time, if you could just play you would reach the goal x2 faster or even faster. because you would learn more (from mistakes) in shorter time.

This is my point also.
The gating makes me not even want to go further because I feel it is a waste of time now. Especially since it is the end of the season. Maybe if I had started doing dungeons at the start of the season it would be different.
This is why I am saying that the best players do not reach the top, because the system is so demotivating. I know a lot of players who simply cannot be bothered with it because of how gated it is.
The Paladin Healer I mostly run with was at one point in BFA ranked #1 paladin healer on the server. No idea where he was in world rankings. He is one who just canât be bothered to chase the top spot.
Then we can stop doing any sports event, since there are tons of people around the world who simply never trained for the event and never competed for it. So the world champion is not the real world champion!
And dont look at server-ratings. They say completely nothing.
Gating is what you choose yourself for. You got options. You do you. You donât want to take different steps to make it a better experience without gating. And that is fine. But it is 100% your descision and your responsibility.

But they do because they are motivated to be in the top 1% the best players are in the top already stop sticking your head in the sand .
Just because you can not be bothered does not mean all players have your attitude and mind set .

The highest dungeon he has done is a +16 in BFA. I searched through the seasons, but i donât think i can find any season where he even reached the first page of his server. Not to mention that the highest score on his server right now is ~2100 for holy paladins⊠+19-21.

He had done one untimed 17 but he was never in top 20 for that realm during BFA .

I think my point is clear, when the exact same people win something over and again, then it is clear as day, they have no real competition. Therefore something is rigged in their favour. The other best players are not reaching the top.
Does the exact same team of players win every single time in any other sport? No!
This is exactly why sponsors do not have much interest in WoW E-Sports.
It doesnât mean, contrary to your thoughts, that I am insulting those at the top. I am not saying at all that they are not good. Clearly they are good, but I am just not worshiping their pedestal. I think they should have some stronger competition.
