A thread for discussing the A³ (All Across Azeroth) community and the PCU

Since we’re asking questions, I might as well ask why your blog think it’s perfectly reasonable to call myself and others all manner of foul names for simply disagreeing with your practices?

Or why you took the time and effort to defend a person in the past who openly said I was a child abuser because I said I supported LGBTQ+ rights? Or the time you openly photo shopped my forum comments towards someone by putting them out of order to falsify the conversation?

Did you ever have talks with your supposed editors who did this? I doubt it.

And I might as well ask, since you seem interested in LGBTQ+ issues, why you have repeatedly called openly queer members of the PCU as “token minorities” alongside some really heavy accusations?

If we’re clearing the air about things, it would be nice to have that addressed as well.

You’re the one with all the discord screenshots, submit proof of your claim.

Me because I’m a weeb.

To state the obvious, when a community has hundreds of members, no one can claim that the entire community has X, Y or Z beliefs. The only things you can do are:

  • Cite the beliefs of particular individuals who exist within that community. If those beliefs are openly stated in front of the rest of the community and tolerated by the officers of the community once they have been made aware of those beliefs, then perhaps you can judge the officers of that community. Otherwise, all you can do is judge these individuals on an individual basis.
  • Cite the official stance of the community and the official stance of the PCU was always that it was tolerant and accepting of anyone of any identity.

Any claim like “the PCU was bigoted” is outrageous because you’d need to provide proof that the majority of those hundreds of players are bigoted.
It’s easier to claim “the PCU has bigots that the rest of community tolerated,” but you’d still need to provide plenty of evidence of bigoted beliefs that weren’t punished by officers for deviating from the PCU’s official policy.

This is hardly a topic of this thread, also barely one that I can answer. After all, I’m not author of that blog, as you can see.

I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community and an officer in one of the guilds within A³ (Dirge of Teldrassil). My guild has always been welcoming to those in the LGBTQ+ community and I see no reason why other guilds in A³ wouldn’t be too. I’ve always felt welcomed in this community - it’s honestly never been an issue at all.
Elizaberta, the character, is in a relationship with another woman and that has also never been an issue.

You literally declared that you were in a previous post:

So please answer if you think any of that is even remotely acceptable? Show me that decency at least please.

Give me what you can ‘barely’ answer at least.

He was on his way to tomato town

Hey, I’ll take the fall for hundreds of lives if I have to but I will not be slandered by someone accusing me of playing Fortnite.

Also sorry for the :poop:posting I admittedly thought this was the other thread and I’m only just realising now that it isn’t.

They’re eerily similar.

Reading their recent posts gives the impression they’ve gone well of the rails.
It was weird when they randomly declared every forum go-er “shrivelled old so-and-so’s”. Now the stuff say about you, Lintian and others is actually crazy.

While some would argue they had a purpose before, nowadays it feels long gone.

Both them and the old-PCU are redundant. I think most of us have grown out of both as we’ve gotten older. It’s time to move forward.

Unfortunately, he won’t answer this.

His gameplan, one he has done several times before to previous threads, is to make inflammatory posts in an attempt to rile people up so he can mass report them and get the thread closed/deleted.

The fact that he’s doing this now on an alt on a clean account would indicate to me that his main has been forum banned.

None of us RP or even play, despite being on often.

Reminds me of people who complain that refugees steal their jobs whilst simultaneously stealing benefits.

Aside from some recent ones(there’s been like 6 different posts in the last month calling me a bunch of foul names for no reason), the specific incidents I talked about was from like 3 years ago roughly?

In short, a very unpleasant person was making homophobic comments in GD. I said I supported LGBTQ+ rights. They responded by saying I abuse my kids in that case and went on a rampage over several threads copying that message over and over.

COAD meanwhile had both previously applauded said person for being a “stand-up individual” who fought the PCU and also did so after this, claiming it was great that they put me down a peg.

So it’s not recent, but something they happily choose to ignore that they did to me while calling me a horrible person and “sniveling coward” for not being happy about it today.

It was worth the try at least.

I suspect there will just be an update tomorrow about what a horrendous person I am for daring to question their past behavior towards me yet again.

And who are you to question the moral arbiter(s) of the realm, Vixí?!

To be fair, this isn’t just a COAD tactic. Dismissing others as “talking heads” or saying that you’ve never seen them play the game, let alone RP, is a popular tactic for dismissing the arguments of others on this forum, a tactic used by all sides.

And I miss you dearly, my shaman friend.

A basic apology would be nice though, or at least some simple level of owning up to not being perfect. But I know both of those are a pipe-dream.

If anything, I could live with them stopping the random harassment campaign and just let things be. That’d be nice.

It’s always been amusing when people do this because I’ve left Vixi to gather dust in-game and see it as evidence that I’m not playing.

When I’ve been active playing almost every expansion (Took a break mid-SL and early DF though), clearing M+ content, and also doing plenty of role-play on the side.

Last time I was told I was apparently no longer active I was in the process of setting up my new roleplay and guild idea.
