This is what they should have done. Instead they announced it maliciously mid-phase so that people wouldn’t unsub/stay away cause of the change. I doubt this is only incompetence at display from blizz.

I am too tired to contact with the customer service. Most of today’s players have a strong affection for World of Warcraft. But this low-level and fatal mistake makes it difficult for me to continue my journey.

Listen to my Story Boyz . I got 1 account bann 2 characters on phase 1 max gear exalted warsong both . Raiding every Reset Guild Master Etc… They Say I am bot and the only reason was my big Online . Cause i Even Didnot Farm Any Dungeons or locations. After 3 days Stressed I payed Another Account Cause it was totally no reply for my appeals. I lvled and geared my New hunter To phaze 2 . And After my Hunter was like 520 Gearscore with Warsong /Ab Exalted i Watch video where dude was Farming Uldaman… After 1 Night Doing that my hunter Was Banned Saying I am Bot … YES bot with 2x STV Mounts and exalted WSG/AB … TRUE BOT ! ) Now On my 3rd account I got Mage just finished My preraide Gearing For sunken Temple. And now I cant Trade/AH/Mail Anything… So I lost Like 4 Months Of my life. I just Wanted To play the game. Seriosly ? ? ?

This is unacceptable and gives new players a super hard time. Couldn’t Blizzard combat this more smartly, like applying the restriction to accounts that meet suspicious criteria, rather than this blanket change?
Blizzard needs to compensate new players for this change, as the game’s really broken without AH and trades. As a new player I can’t afford my mount now despite farming a lot of herbs until my account ages. Really unacceptable.

There’s quite a few comments saying they did this becuase of bots, which probally is the case but nothing has offically been said for the reasoning behind it as far as i know. They are being very silent on the matter.
The only thing said in an earlier blue post is that the restrictions were simular to the WoW token (needing 30 days paid game time to be consumed) but i’m fairly sure the token restictions were applied due to some legal issue, not botting.
If this is for boting reasons then it’s not goning to stop the bots who will purchase accounts wait the 30 days and do as they would of done. It will delay the bots so all it really harms is the legit players.
Whats even more concerning is that this practise could be exetended further, for example is this restiction going to be in place when TWW launches or after they release major patches in other game versions?

bots are still farming and they will sell that gold after 30 days …anyway … and if you look on gold market they have so big STOCK so they really dont care about month … They have Hundreds of accounts … They bying em every day so they have some already ready to sell … So this your NEW RULES doesnot do any to bot farms.
- If you not scamming blizard… Better to make a post or something informing New Players That they Cant play Game for a month after they paying money for this clown festival… Like on your battle net it is NO any information That you paying a game as All but you cant Play properly For 30 days… NO ANY INFO Its only good pictures of nice NEW Sod game ENJOI !!!

I suggest everyone here to rebel against Blizzard not to pay for a subscription until they turn on their brains and start thinking before committing idiotic actions

Why does my friend who created a new account yesterday have to wait 30 days before I can help him? Why is there no information about this on the registration screen or subscription payment screen? Did I deceive my friend when I invited him to play with me?
