The only reason i can think of is when another player threatened me to either do XYZ or the team (6 man premade) would report me. I ignored him and here we are

Since you donât say what you ban was for I can only assume since you mention a premade team, it was for non participation in a BG.
This is something Blizzard are clamping down on. Anyone leeching gets dealt with.
I donât know the Term FCs. You were not autobanned, you didnât do anything for a while, got reported and Blizzard looked at it and gave you a ban.
If you went in as a healer and didnât heal, then a ban is deserved, sorry but itâs true.
That now gets you a flag for inactivity. You could just quit the BG.

It just comes down to one thing, did you stop playing? Your posts indicate you did so you got a ban for it. It doesnât matter if you were losing or not.

As I have already said, and will say again, itâs about inactivity, a Flag Carrier is not inactive, being inactive is not about not healing or DPSing, itâs about DOING NOTHING AT ALL.
Whether thatâs not ressing or just standing at the start area. If you are doing something then that should be OK, but once you stop doing something, thatâs when you get punished, and in my opinion, itâs deserved.

As far as the principle you state is concerned I get the impression you simply do not know what you are talking about. You sound like someone who has never actually been in the situation of a WSG weekend. I can tell you again that facing a rank 10+ premade as a solo queuer is absolutely pointless. That i should now be forced to help them farm honor points on my cadaver is grotesque.
How you think that stealing 8 days of a customers money on this arbitrary (und undocumented) rulseset is beyond me. Like a Gulag prisoner who has adopted the rules of his imprisonment and now lectures his companions on their value.

I will also say this, if the ban was automatic you would be banned during the match, or very, very soon after it. The thing is you cannot know WHICH time you AFKed is the one you were banned for. It would be nice if they included the date and time information of the ban in the email though.
Well then you are âguaranteeingâ something that isnt. I told you that i have received an explanation from them that explicitly states that i was detected by a system to be inactive on multiple occasions. As i only play WSG we now know exactly why i was banned. What we dont know is how they measure âinactivityâ.

⌠and face a 15 min lockout. 8 games out of 10, thanks to Blizz failed matchmaking. I agree that this is the only solution to completely remove the risk of the auto-ban. The alternative is to get GY camped, rez and die over and over and over and over until the enemy team decides to move on to the next game. In many cases these will also not turn in the last flag until they have farmed each enemy to the point of 0 honor decay.
How you think this is sensible or worth defending is beyond me. Either you suffer a severe case of Stockholm syndrome and defend it on the grounds that you desperately WANT it to make sense or you simply have never played WSG vs premades

Have seen cases like this on the server discord. Might not be the reason but have seen people in the PvP discord asking for mass reports on a certain player to get them banned. (Normally bracket breakers) in game and out of game is both controlled by tyrants. Quite sad really
