Don’t talk to me about not wanting to put the effort in. I have 3x Memory of which one is Rank 4, and that was before they actually nerfed the requirement in 8.3. Do you realize how silly it is maintaining this stance when the essences are going to be irrelevant making all that effort spent void anyway?
Essences are an essential gameplay system and as long as we’re still in BFA there is absolutely no reason they shouldn’t be account-wide assuming you fulfill the requirements.
That is your choice want army of same level chars work for it.
It should be since day 1 or never.
Day 1 did not happend wanting it free now is literally spiting to face anyone who got it.
What exactly is “wanting it for free” supposed to mean? The vast majority of people want account-wide essences because they have already unlocked most if not all at Rank 3. Hell, I have rank 4 Memory and that alone takes 3 months of doing dailies. They put the effort in. Wanting them account-wide doesn’t affect you at all unless you’re such a nitpicker that you wouldn’t welcome that kind of convenience. In fact arguing against it just makes you a contrarian for the sake of it.

If the majority of essences were easy to acquire i.e EP they wouldn’t be asking for them to be account-wide in droves would they?

Got to wonder how WoW came from 12mil players to being the 2nd best MMO if its even that now?
The neck grind is just that busy work for the lack of content in BFA, forcing ppl to do the same amount of grind on alts is only going to result in ppl getting even more burnt out and not coming back.
Time to take WoW into 2020, correct me if I’m wrong but FF14 you can reroll into any class without starting over right? Maybe its time for Blizzard to take ideas from other MMO’s instead of the one being copied(and yes I know its a EQ clone to start with)

Account-wide essences are a huge point of contention. They have been mentioned and requested ever since 8.2 on these forums, MMO Champion, Blizzcon and Dev Q&As. Needing a superficial number count is just being in denial.
I’m not even going to bother arguing with you further, honestly. Judging from your post history it’s evident you’re incredibly close-minded and easy to dismiss opinions that don’t align with your own. Defending stupid design decisions is what resulted in WC:3 Reforged.

I do pet battles , pvp and pve so yup i see myself as someone with higher value than 1 month andys whining on forums.
People who paly longer/have nonstop sub have more value then random andys who play for 1 month.
People who play longe make friends bounds are part in community play with peole around and make it mmorgp random andys no one remembers beyond their whining on forums.
SO even from stand point of mmorpg people who play longer are better.

That is logical people who play /have nonstop sub met with peole /make bounds and have fun toghether stick together do things together and do anything meet more people longer they do things and make new friends etc .
People who barely play and sub for 1 Month etc are unnoticable and dont have time to make any of that.
