Why cant you state the reasons why you find it fine? Seems like your just in here to troll people instead of contributing to the conversation.
You cant read?
Read posts above if you cant find why i post it again.
And another Imagine you work somewhere for 6 months after that time you get 20% extar each month, next day Joe shows up he gets same money as you and he does nto do better he does even worse, he gets same money as you without you waiting 6 months and he is even worse in it.
But thats what pleasing me, getting done quick so i can play on alts and get some variation. Im pretty hyped for shadowlands
Cant answer now?
ive already read what u had to say. now this doesnt explain anything about why you dont want your essences accountwide. it just states that you dont want casual players to not grind for theirs since you have went through it and earned it. getting essences accountwide would just mean that you as a player are rewarded on all your characters those essences since you have grinded them
I agree to this post, there is no reason for blizz by now to flat out refuse making them account wide. I want to play a lot of my alts, and this would only be good for blizzard as played time metric is all they seem to care about, but the thought of having to grind essences on them again makes me to log out 20 sec later after logging in on the alt.
Exactly my experience! Its just demotivating. And my friend is just not gonna play cause he cant play with us when we are so far ahead
Unfortunately, the way the game is designed you frequently have to do (time-consuming) things that you donât enjoy in order to be able to do the things that you do enjoy.
And thatâs a thing that should be changed. Back in the days, it was the leveling process that was the time consuming thing that people didnât enjoy (although leveling the first time was quite an enjoyable experience, just not the fifth time). Nowadays, leveling is easily accomplished by either paying money forward to blizzard or simply spending a few days actually leveling. However, the developers feel the need to still create a time consuming mechanic you donât enjoy to prevent you from jumping straight into the things you enjoy.
And well, to be quite honest, thatâs a subjectively awful design philosophy. Itâs fine to create a barricade for reaching certain thresholds the first time, but I firmly believe said barricade should be either removed or at least lowered after youâve crossed it for the first time. And if it isnât being removed, it should at least get lower each time.
Donât like making essences account wide? Allow players to buy rep tokens for each faction, not just mechagon and nazjatar and make the nazjatar ones properly grindable, similar to mechagon.
Allow players who have already completed a raid to talk to a vendor that allows them to spend the excess Aqueous Reliquarys, Sparks of Unwavering Strength and Encrypted Nyâalothan Texts to create account bound essences for the same price, and allow having an excess of them above just up to a maximum of 3 roles. That one would also make a lot more sense than you just waving your hands around after using 36 reliquarys and somehow creating a powerup for your ultimate lazor beam necklace.
And for gods sake, if you already create a PvP essence thatâs incredibly strong in PvE, make the already account wide achievement so it makes every character on that account eligible for purchasing that essence.
Thereâs so many improvements possible for essences, yet Blizzard decides to go with the easiest way, namely âYeah weâve heard your feedback and we agree, yet weâre not going to change jack. Be happy weâve slightly lowered the timegateing on those essences!â
I agree with you completely make them accountwide!
Yeah,lets make lvl 120 account wide as-well
Honestly⌠with leveling the way it isâŚ
but nah that wouldover do it. but i am glad leveling is getting a complete revamp
Like I wrote, vary up.
Donât do the same routine every day.
One day work towards essences, etc.
Another day just do something else. You donât need perfect essence(s) before you can do stuff.
My boyfriend is on verge of quitting due to essences necessity to be grinded on alts as well. I am pretty darn hardcore when it comes to maxing out stuff but even this is draining me to hell. The sheer huge size of Everest in front of me is too much.
And itâs not like the essences are fun to grind. Rustbolt rep again, grinding galvanic thingies âŚagain, grinding battlegrounds as alliance (oh wahoo)âŚagain.
If you have rank 3 essence on main, then for your alt for example, you kill King mechagon ONCE and you get rank 3 essence. You win 1 pvp island/bg/big bg and you get rank 3 etc. You do a small part of it. But reducing exalted rep to revered is not enough, and reducing galvanic things from 10 to 8 or whatever is not enough. Requirement needs to be massively reduced. I want multiple alts and specs. I want to have fun playing multiple classes. You are restricting my gameplay. I dont like the same same same all the time.
Ion is pretty darn good at reassuring players their feedback is important and being listened to, while simultaneously instructing the dev team to do the exact opposite.
âLess RNG please Ion⌠Titanforging is breaking our ability to work towards known goals and be happy with outcomes.â
âI hear you. Weâll lose TF and use Corruption instead.â
And now dps players, may the light have mercy on their souls, struggle to get into PuGs if they didnât get infinite stars in the first 2 weeks of 8.3. Instead of titanforging RNG, we got âAnd you get 20% more dps, and you, and you - but not the rest of you who just did exactly the same raid as the first 3 guys. No hard feelings.â
Weirdly enough, feelings were indeed hard
And yes, once again I voice my support for account-wide essences. I run with 2 raid groups; one is progressing heroic, the other is a gentle casual run. And I feel bad because people in the latter who bring their mains are rank 3 and 4 essences, while the alt I join them with is all 1s and 2s. They deserve better, but my main doesnât need to be in that run at all.
I agree with you, its so sad cause i oove this patch, but my friend wont experience it cause he would ve stuck doing dailies in mecha and nazjatar. Also raiding 4 weeks of EP if he gets in. It is sad that its so extremely timegating if there was a way to atleast grind them out i would be happy
feedback from playerbase isnât limited feedback of forum moaners who sub for month once each year and demand everything long timers have for free.
just had an idea, like they are gonna do with anima in shadowlands. why dont they have currencies for different activities so u can buy essence ranks after you have claimed rank 1?
Any relation to that Holy guy? lol If the game wasnât so locked down maybe we would sub longer like in the past?
Btw 4 years is not a âlong timerâ you came into wow in its decline so I can see why you would think WoW in current form is fine
your crystal ball failed you
