That’s actually wrong and this mentality is exactly what damages the pugging community so much… The timer is very forgiving in M+
Naaaah.
If you wipe at the gauntlet when you’re on course to +1 halls if you don’t wipe, you’ve depleted the key if you wipe.
I know I timed keys with like 3 wipes early in the season and it was almost a +2. Anyway. a lot of the time, people, who leave, are the ones doing either the mistakes or they do tank damage and they simply get tilted and don’t wanna deal with anything. I also observed good players leaving, when they see the run not being smooth. I also leave keys, when the key is not timeable. It’s a hard problem to solve. Honestly, maybe M+ is just not a good game mode as a whole and blizzard should evolve
Low keys, yes.
If you’re doing a +28 tyrannical VP and you wipe with 8 minutes left on the pack before you jump down, you might as well just leave because you’re not timing that key because the last boss will take more time than you have when you come back and have cleared the pack you wiped to.
It’s a great game mode. You’re just doing it wrong.
It’s like you’re constantly surprised random dumb stuff happens when you play with random dummies.
Yeah, I mean I enjoyed playing it with my guild. I do have people to play with now luckily, and when I occasionally tank I also don’t have the issue, because as a tank you can hardcarry usually in pugs. However, on my alt I experienced again how bad it is, and most people play with pugs primarily, and blizzard should make the pugging experience at least acceptable with a way to disincentivize trolling
When you push on your keylevel the timer is not forgiving.
Unfortunately, as with most of the automated report systems. It would just be abused.
Spain and SA give no warning when power and such are being cut off and you blame the players for that i mean i am lost for words for how you think of it and not take the whole picture into place.
thats easy, because this isnt elo like chess, where you fight against another player…you get points based on completed level and some bonus points if you are fast
you compare apples with oranges in this case
I mean it all depends on how often it happens in my view. I did not wanna advocate for a tyrannical banning system. I just asked for more moderation, when people are excessively griefing others.
I’ve encountered a handful of people leaving groups for no good reason since m+ was implemented. The rest? They had a reason.
Its something there governments control and the players should not suffer because of that.
Which is something we often do in push groups. We are a group of five (technically more in the actual group but only five can play at once), we aren’t going to waste our time on a key we’ve completely fluffed when we are only doing them for score, we move on to one of the others in the group, or re-run it a level lower.
some people just want to leave keys without any punishment. if you have a reason to leave then you should take the punishment and accept leaving , it shouldn’t be the other way around tbh
You’re also back to the problem, is it only the initial sacrifice that suffers the score loss. If so what’s to stop the lead from evicting a victim to take the hit. Or does everyone lose score thereby making it even worse to suffer leavers. People will just relog or fake a d/c, or just wait out the timer or for someone else to go.
None of these systems every seem to help the problems. Just create more issues.
Some are tho some are just toxic
Hmm ok, I get your point. Indeed it would heavily impact guild/ premade groups.
A LFG problem cannot be resolve by impacting High level keys, doesn’t make sense & would kill the top bracket
So basically, to add this would mean to also add a MMR for LFG & all the craziness around it. Better to stick to Blacklist & note down the griefers.
Some people want to keep other people hostage in a group that is unable to finish the dungeon in the first place.
I equally wouldn’t want to be forced to play with someone very toxic.
