Nah, you’re right. I checked the AH via its default UI and the old “Sort by highest bid” option is super screwy.
I made a post some time ago about the purpose of walls, but one can now safely add the functionality of scamming newbies out of their silvers to it.
The bid is 1c, so it will always get shown first, whilst the buyout for individual items (walls) is exaggerated like 15s for a cloth, and after 10+ pages of scrolling I can understand how this is cyber bullying for sure.
YUp that much I believe how people remember the fine details. People did have boss mods, AH addons, PvP scout and what not addons. I understand there’s currently some sort of vendetta against mods on forums here.
I’m all for no changes. But this is where I think Blizzard should make an exception. There’s a difference between annoying tasks like leveling a weapon skill vs simply outdated and dysfunctional features like classic wow AH.
what? a week ago today I had a roast dinner… stop talking crap dude…
yes there was addons back in vanilla… where did you read in my thread me saying there wasn’t? i never played vanilla wow, I played mid/end TBC and as I said, I NEVER saw single sell items like it is today…
YOU may have a gold fish memory but I tend to remember the fine details.
Auctionator is extremely easy to use and super light-weight. Just use it like everyone else and have it make your life that much easier and bypass all your whine issues. Deal with it.
Yet its full of “add-ons existed in vanilla” trolls, people who don’t even play Classic judging by their responses and some who even think its ok because it can be avoided by using add-on.
I think it is a huge issue that needs to be addressed by developers sooner than later, before people start quitting because they can’t use auction house due to so many “AH players” scum.
honestly… stop using google translate dood… you are talking out your rear end… i never said there was never single sale items, i never said there was no addons…
where are you seeing this?
yes, because that’s exactly how the problem started to begin with… "just do what everyone else does and stop whining… grow up pal, i am not whining, I am giving feedback… piss off out of my thread if you have nothing useful to say.
Oh did not take long untill the insults because I am not yes-maning your hatred towards retail, and do not agree with your statement that addd-ons are form the evil.
“you either have to buy items 1 by 1 because morons with stupid little addons like in retail want to make extra copper…”
“honestly… stop using google translate dood… you are talking out your rear end…”
Good luck with blocking since the forums here do not have it. I asked them yesterday.
And not every person, who disagrees is a troll, but if you cannot accept that opinions differ, then maybe you should not post on forums and try a personal blog, where no other opinion can be posted as response.
AH UI should remain bad as it was in vanilla. But they should not cripple API, so addons or macroses can be useful. Now they broke sorting by buyout which sorts by entire lot buyout rather than buyout per item.
