“With the second fall of Lordaeron, the Forsaken now stands without a home. Arathor is abandoned to its remaining wildlife and blight infested regions. The Alliance want their lands back, but cannot do such by force due to the armistice, and cease fire with the new Horde council. Political debates has failed, and yet Arathor remains untouched by anyone but those of the Forsaken who did not leave to Orgrimmar, or joined Sylvanas’. Farmers have begun to restore the lands, as a group of Alliance patriots has sieged attack on the Horde settlements without the High King’s command—the Horde is blaming the Alliance for betrayal and laid siege on these innocents. They are preparing arms to defend Arathor. The Alliance have to act to this aggression, and prepares a counter defense.”

“Both the Alliance and Horde was tricked by the recently Old God, N’zoth and his minions, manipulating these said patriots which sieges on the Horde settlements—to pin the Horde and Alliance against each other. A final distraction.”
Operation: Arathor is a sign-up only war campaign based on the roleplay-player-versus-player (RPPVP) concept: Operation Northstar , and is design to not only strike at the enemy faction, but to claim territory and resources—this will be mentioned further down.
Non-combatant participants are allowed for casual and social roleplay, but you are not allowed to join in on the skirmishes, unless agreed with the Managers—this is to create social roleplay on the side, and to balance numbers.

RPPVP Rules:
- One (1) spell each (5th) second
- No area-of-effect (AoE) spells—this includes procs which provide AoE; such as Twilight Devestation and Infinite Star, etc.
- No unique effect affixes (UEA) or one shot spells (OSS); such as: Gushing Wounds , Echoing Void , Sniper Shot , Dire Beast: Basilisk , Viper and Spider String , Double Tap , Greater Pyroblast , Toxic Blade , etc.
- No multi-stunning
- Healing is unrestricted
- No purposely ganking
Do not aim to kill—this war campaign is made for everyone to have fun, not to gain kill counts.
If there is any rulebreaking, metagaming, et cetera, we do stand by with a referee team who works with the manager team, yet we do expect the individual guild leaders and their officers to take care of their own members; so there will be no miscommunication between the manager or referee team and the individual guild.
Territory & Resource Claim, and Point Rules:
- The Alliance and Horde main bases cannot be claimed, and does not count any points, but may be attacked
- To claim a territory, at least ten (10) players, from either faction, must be present at 23:00/11PM —server time
- Each territory claimed counts for one (1) point
- From 20:00/8PM to 23:00/11PM —server time—territories and resources can be claimed
- At 23:00/11PM —server time—there will be calculated how many territories and resource which has been claimed
- Each resource claimed count for two (2) points
- When participants has made it known on which claims they are planning on heading towards, a balance will be worked out, and those participants cannot roam between claims during the skirmish hours: 20:00/8PM to 23:00/11PM .
- Anything before 20:00/8PM and after 23:00/11PM —server time—is done by the players on their own accord, and will not be counted for any points.
