All Citrine Gems to Become Available Soon

But is it BS for your main prot pala no much you deny it , you simply can not face and admit you were wrong.

Which boss drops mastery gem?

The Fathomdweller drops from the Shuddering Hallow Event.
Its currently horribly bugged though.

Just switch to an alt and get it on an alt then send it to warband, anyway i still do not see how ring is any good when i can get +3000 of 2 chosen stat on a crafted ring while the process is below that ontop of ring giving only 1 permanent stat that is no where near what i can get on a crafted ring, maybe i am overthinking it but that is pretty much what i do all day.

As far of the stats i can get on the circlet they aren’t even any good for my class.

I did it about 20 times and got both gems. I don’t think there was anything different in the two successful tries. I’m starting to think the bug is random.

Its BiS for your prot pala.

Because of the way the tideskipper gem interacts when you’re in a group with people who are also using it.

The proc is worth more than the stats you lose because you gain benefit from other people’s rings by wearing your own.

Not worth it for the amount of stats you lose, at least not right now maybe at 658 but we are not at 658 at most you have a 642 ring.

Do you have any math to back that up? Or are you saying it because number go down feels bad?

He doesnt. He keeps yapping about it since hours like a broken record even after getting proven wrong.

At maxlevel, it´s a dmg increase of about 3.5% on Protadin. Not huge, but it´s there.

It appears to me that you are ignoring or simply not aware of how the stones interact with each other… For example Fathomdwellers increases mastery and Stormbringers increases all stats.

Theamount increased is less than teh base stats of a 639, yes. And this is where teh interactions come in to play.

Because fathomdwellers increases the effectiveness of ALL other Citrines, incl Stormbringers, bases on your total mastery, and the scaling is so strong that that particular combo is BiS for 90% of all classes.

And then you add on Skipper’s, which has a chance to proc one of those at 150% effectiveness… ON TOP of the stats already provided… so the 2k mastery suddenly become 5k, which in turn buffs all of your other stats by a hilarious amount… For ex on demo lock 624, my base haste is 24%, as it should be… and merely having this ring equipped, as I have no other haste procs, when skippers procs Fathomdwellers my haste goes up to 27% for a few seconds, while mastery goes up almost 25% to just under 60% in the same timeframe… And it happens OFTEN, at least 2-3x /minute.

I will admit the way the tideskipper works is quite unintuitive and players have a history of being adverse to mechanics similar to it (Binding of binding as a recent example) but when it’s so universal and so easy to get it’s hard to argue against.

Skippers doesn’t proc your active gems it procs any gem. The REALLY strong part of the effect is that by wearing the ring, you get a bonus whenever anyone else procs the queen’s roar effect from their skippers.

Seriously? that potentially makes it even more broken…esp when as you allude to it procs war queens in group content…

I just ran a delve while having a statmonitoring WA active, and it seemed to me at face value from teh stats fluctuation like it was reliably proccing fathomdwellers, thereby making all my stats go up by a “slighty” broken amount by way of fathomdwellers buffing stormlords , but I´d have to check the logs to see exactly what was really going on… thx fotr the insight

That’s what makes it good in the first place yes. Without that interaction the 3rd stats gem is better.

Tideskiper processes a random effect so either the all stat one or mastery stat one, that is what the tideskipper gem says.
Unless i am miss understanding something.

I expect overall my stats to be higher with a higher item level ring not lower, it feels like current item level its misleading, perhaps because the gems are more confusing then being obvious.

It’s not just out of the 2 you’re wearing. It’s any effect.

Which means it can proc the roaring citrine to buff other people.

Which means other people’s skippers proccing roaring also buffs you. A buff you only get if you’re wearing the ring.

The skippers roaring interaction is indeed a little confusing.

This keeps happening. Like clock work

You are confusing 1 citrine effect with another one probably because there is one gem that can trigger party citrine effects, but who is gonna use that ever to nerf their own potential unless they are support.
