Blizz could you tell the Shuddering Hollow that we are allowed to get gems, instead of making the WQ/Objective disappear part way through killing the boss.

Others have said if you do it once, and it bugs don’t loot it, then immediately loot the old body once the next stalag event starts.

I heard “once it bugs u reset the boss, and pull it through wall when new event pops up” (quote). Try that and see if it works if you can.

Theyre not available cause it’s still bugged still after almsot 24 hours. Cant get 2 of the best gems cause of event bug.

I got one, but I can’t get the second. Unfortunately I couldn’t see anything different in the kill that worked versus the many that didn’t (other than the bonus objective disappearing obviously).

Tell people to move their butt INSIDE the cave and stop casting from the edge at the entrance.
And it works just fine then

managed to get one citrine, but missing the last one atm.
Since there’s no real solution atm…

That said, it would be nice if this meant these unlock for the whole warband on the vendor, so I don’t have to log in all of them to figure out which alt unlocked which one, seeing as both the currency and the gems are warband bound already anyway.

As a slightly more on topic reply than perhaps half the thread… the 3 gems the Tortollan sells, which are rewards from each invasion’s weekly quest and so not available currently as drops, don’t count to the achievement A Choir of Citrines . (You must have them awarded, not bought)

Is that something that can be addressed, or can you confirm if completing the Pirate and Naga quests over the next two weeks will still award those gems, and thus update the achievement?

What worked for me was when it was tanked in teh alcove to the left of the entrance, or tanked in the middle of the room.

In both cases both horde and alliance were saying this before the event started in /s, …the melees relentlessly taunted him back teh moment he even tried to move, and everyone popped everything to make sure that all of the effort and coordination didn´t get foiled by some random player coming in late with a growling pet or taunting voidwalker…OR possibly miss the DpS check and get sabotaged by teh collapsing cave.

Took us collectively about 2 hours of frustration, with the mob at the entrance steadily growing to probably 50 something people… but one we started to actively coordinate x-faction, after those 2 pulls everyone had everything

AS soon as he leaves the WG zone, which unfortunately is not the entire cave (far back will fail just as much as the entrance will), it´s over for everything and teh best thing you can do is stop DPSing and let the cave collapse… it´s faster (and cheaper) than restarting teh event via the table (or maybe there was someone paying at the table, ofc also entirely possible)

Was buggy for me too. I changed to WM ON and I got both gems in two kills.
I don’t know what’s up in the quest disappearing but I hope it helps.

What is even more odd is that it works for some and not others.

Aye, would be nice.

But what also works: unlock all of them on your main, and simply purhcase the ones that your alts will need (wowhead guides for ex have all been updated already)… that way your alts just fly over to the island, pop the skip for the ring, and never have to care about the island again unless they want to upgrade the ring itself, and find their gems in the mail or warbank

They should not have released patch in this state, may as well have time gated the island until fixed in future patch, buggy broken mess with ring that is totally not worth it, but keep on believing whatever you will.

Expected more out of a content patch.
