Not true. Protection Paladin seems the most screwed right now, but Brewmaster Monks have even lower representation from +2 to +9. Keys above +12 also become very unfriendly to Blood Death Knights, dropping from 26% at +10 to 3% at +13.
Sure, the tank balance isnât nearly as bad as the healer balance, but itâs not great either. 2 out of 6 tank classes are pretty much dead at +10 and up. Thatâs not a good situation either. There is 1 Protection Paladin and 0 Brewmaster Monks in the m+ top 100 right now.
most outragous thing for me is really just the poison dispell totem in some dungeons. it sometimes removes 20mil+dmg with one global, if they insist on having additional dispell scools for flavour as a bonus they should really tune the dmg/annoyence of those effects waaaay down or have it solveable at the very least by a single dispell of that sort.
It still dosent change my opinion. It was unfair to me that nukes could be dispelled by a priest in BH, and its unfair for priests that they cant dispel the heal absorb in GB.
Either we all can, or none of us can. For nukes like those, there is no in between.
100%. Except for keys 12 and above. There the white hits from mobs truck so much that the best tanks are those that can deal the best with white hits (warrior and bear).
And that is what I have been saying. The âmetaâ of high-end keys dosent apply to everyone else. Because everyone else dosent have a +20% damage modifier.
They should really nerf resto shaman or buff holy priest so hard. We have useless two AOE skills. Prayer of Healing - Circle of healing is seriously useless about YEARS.
And our set bonus is comedy. (for poh one) roflmao PoH and %35 effectiveness haha
I personally unsubbed yesterday when they decided to nerf Hpal overall HPS by 5% when the entire M+ bracket is like 93% resto shamans. I dont know what they are smoking.
Imagine in DF shaman had this too and still it wasnât meta. We can make a whole list with utility why resto druid or holy paladin (or evoker) should be meta but it isnât. Meta of healers is not about utility.
Pretty sure the utility of the shaman is covering all the things that is being brought up in M+:
A kick for the ranged since the the way they are casting has been changed, aoe poison dispel , and a curse dispel.
As well as the HP boost from Ancestral Vigor/Downpour to survive the massive damage spikes when attacks are synced.
Certain classes would love to have some degree on these options and remain relevant for this season.
I think itâs a combination of having all the right tools for the job and the enemy/dungeon design that makes it a problem.
While there is surely a need to adjust the other healing classes to stay on similar performance and get the enemies to be less of a hassle (especially +9 and upwards), I do believe some adjustment is also necessary on the shaman to bring it in line.
Isnât this exactly what we say about resto druid and evoker? They have all the right tools. Somehow nobody is right now complaining druid has a battleres and resto shaman doesnât.
The things you mention shaman has since legion basically. Curse dispel, health bonus (even double with gift of the queen), interrupt. It was all there.
Where are the complains disc is doing 50%-75% more damage than all the other healers. Evoker is the king of hps.
Druid is the king of survival with bear. It has tank externals. Shaman has itâs own problems. It does not have it all.
Dont worry, im sure that weâll soon see shaman nerfed and druids buffed enough to restore order, bringin druid back as meta and shaman back where they belong together with hpriest in the bottom
