Guardian is proving troublesome to be fair, but I got the boss to 3%. I generally die to making obvious positioning or awareness mistakes, getting knocked off the platform, etc. - not to gear issues.

I definitely would have died on the attempt I killed him on if I didn’t have blood-spattered scale, I was at 300 hp after the annihilate.
