Allies need to learn to throw games when losing

Stop RPing and pretending the magical power of self belief can help you win. No one benefits from turtling. Feed Horde less honor, make them miss their honor targets.

When we’ve lost SH, and we have no one down south to get bonus honor, just let horde win and move aside, you’ll get more honor per hour requeueing and losing at that point. You’d even get more honor by taking a 15 min deserter debuff and requeueing than turtling.

Nice defeatist attitude you have there. You’ll go far!

I recommend taking that deserter tbh and just don’t re enter with an attitude like that. Probably the sort of person who gives up in WSG when the score is 1-0 horde

Oh don’t give me that fluffy bollocks about “attitude”.

It’s a logical and pragmatic approach to maximising honor per hour.

But in all seriousness that attitude is what makes a loss and spreading it makes things impossible. It’s still possible to win after a turtle, or to go around the horde and kill lts for the honer bonus at the very least, yea alliance win very few games but there is still ways to win and get around the horde…

Should be encouraging people not saying to just give up

It’s still possible for a win after turtle but maybe like, what, one in ten for another 30 minutes of no bonus honor per game? It’s not worth using that time inefficiently because you might win.

I’d rather take my chances, eject, and requeue, smash grab the easy bonus honor every time.

Since you say taking the deserter is better I sincerely hope you just do that instead of further demoralizing your team and screwing over the people who actually play the game to win.

If demoralising them brings about a quicker loss, then so be it.

And here we see an example of the problem with the Alliance.

Alliance: Horde always win AV.
Also alliance: Yeah let them win so we can queue up again.

I don’t mind losing at all if they’re fast losses where we smash the bonus honor.

What do you even want honor per hour for?

Maybe instead of fighting, we should roll dices?
Why you even play a game based on war between two factions?

Thing is it’s efficient if you do win but the loser attitude in you gives up without trying to get the win. You might win becomes you’ll never win when you apply your attitude

Thanks, but I’ll take the more logical option.

Move the horde GY back a bit then I’ll consider your viewpoint.

The map is still identical to it was when alliance could premade… Map defects didn’t make you loose then and doesn’t now…

It’s the no queue and minimal effort/enthusiasm that makes alliance loose.

If people had the can do attitude and good leadership and if people listened to those making good leadership choices there would be more wins.

And what, we’re magically going to consistently have leadership in every game?

Taking the bonus honor and losing quicker is still better than trying. You may not like it, but it’s true.

The topic of this thread not withstanding, the Americans really did a number on you with their late stage capitalism propaganda, didn’t they? Holy mother of cringe.

But you said when ally loose SH and there’s no one to get bonus honer then give up… Your potentially wasting 15-20 min by giving up or taking deserter to get nothing… Or make the game a 30-40 min game, put some effort into it and make your way around the horde, get some lts get some bonus honer and you never know, if you try that little bit harder there’s still a chance to win.

Not every game has a good leader but be that leader and make smart choices, people do listen.

Sorry but you’ve lost me with that one?

Putting the effort into it almost entirely makes a game last 30 minutes longer for no bonus honor, why don’t you understand that? Do you just cling onto the idea that we MIGHT win very rarely, and get 2-3k honor for doing so?
