Allow us to avoid 1 button players

ok for all you moaners about 1 button rotation – for the fully abled players this will make no difference for players like myself who has only 1 fully working hand and severe nerve damage in other hand this this make a huge difference in my game play - i might be able to raid etc now …

As a player who is on the lower end of the performance spectrum, I would like an option to block people who will not be using one-click from being able to access any group I am part of.

The players who will use that will be the most chill exactly because they will not care about performance but about fun. They will therefore be the least toxic and the most likely to even type in chat something other than ‘123’

How much can they care about fun if they just want to push one button? How much fun is that going to be?

Ask the hundreds thousands players that don’t even enter raids or M+.

I asked you since you seem to know how other people feel.

I can’t imagine how pressing one button is fun.

Check how many people play non-retail versions of WoW.

Yeah that’s fair. I forgot about Classic. I suppose I am just out of touch with reality.

It’s not like the average person puts in much effort IRL so it’s foolish of me to expect WoW to be different.

Not everyone enjoys Soulslike playstyle with reflexes of F1 pilots and adequate knowledge of the various game system interactions in order to succeed. Some people just want to just turn off their mind and have fun. Incidentally, those are also the people most likely to not want to rush but to take it slow and steady. And that’s why I want to be able to not only to group with them, but to block rushers from infiltrating those groups.

The Ballad of the Mighty One-Button

Oh gather ye round, both noob and knight,
And hear of a patch that sparked a fight.
In Azeroth, where dragons roam,
Came one wee button to shake the throne!

(Chorus)
Oh one button, bold and true,
With a single press, the mobs you slew!
While the min-max crowd did cry and pout,
You cleared the raid—then logged right out!

The rogues did weep, the priests declared:
“My skill’s been nerfed! I’m unprepared!”
A warlock fainted mid-Twitch stream,
As macros killed their DPS dream.

Some cried, “It’s casual filth, I say!
Remove this blight! Take it away!”
But others danced and drank with glee,
“I do top charts—hands off my knee!”

(Chorus)
Oh one button, sly and sly,
You made the spreadsheets wave goodbye!
No more rotations, stress or strife,
Just mash and loot—what a lovely life!

The devs just laughed and sipped their tea,
“We only made it for World Quest spree…”
But lo, the cries still shake the air—
“IT’S RUINED!” shouted someone’s bear.

So sing with me, ye heroes all,
Of keybinds lost and forum brawls.
For though the game lives on just fine,
We’ll always mourn… the skill decline.

(Final chorus)
Oh one button, bright and bold,
You broke the meta, shattered the mold!
They called it doom, the end, the fall—
But truth be told… it changed sod all!

Not sure whats the fuss about really.
Any self respecting DPS wont knowingly gimp himself and do 50% less dps.
So this one button…whatever this is will be used by people who are already doing 50% of their optimal dps anyway without the help of the 1 button gimick.

That’s supposed to be overall ? Or st ? For what itlv ?

Because 1.5 mln overall is most likely more then like half of dps do in like +6 / +7 .

Well tiers liek ulduar and icc are without a doubt untill today one of if not most popular tiers ever. And there you Had 2-4 buttons rotations .

Its not about buttons - its about climate of instance and fun .

Its about soul of MMORPG .

And wow lost it somewhere along the road.

I got my first CE title while pressing my abilities with my mouse in Shadowlands

I started key binding my abilities at the start of DF season 2.

ST and Dungeon Slice respectively. The “BiS list” is being used for the sims.

"Adding perfect trinket use, racial and potion use did bring the damage difference from the one button rotation down to “only” 30%-40%. This is a lot closer now and makes the rotation helper a somewhat reasonable option for very casual players. " - Fuu. Rogue Discord.

ST: https://www.raidbots.com/simbot/report/uHM9giAJV6QuUrxU5mojMB (-28.8%)

Dungeon Slice: https://www.raidbots.com/simbot/report/im1su9nYY7LebBxCBxBBvf (-42.1%)

I play Guardian so it’s not like I’m drowning in buttons.

Removing everything except Ironfur then making it do AOE damage, taunt everything and give me a huge DR so I only have to press one button does not seem fun to me.

I’m not spending a bunch of money to do as close to nothing as possible when I can just do nothing for free.

Hence the infamous “scrollwheel rotation” meme (which isnt even a meme from what I’ve seen).

Yeah I’ve heard of that. I just put my tank “spenders” on 5 on my mouse. I don’t use the wheel for anything.

Even if I did I still have to press my other abilities. I just don’t think pressing only one button would be fun.

“Waah no tanks, no healers” “only run with people you know” lol. Pushing out players like me in to proper groups hurts the average dps player more than it hurts me. Every single key i run, i tank for 3 other dps. If i stop using lfg, its 3 dps without a tank.

But completely untrue, i have the right to use lfg without the fear of being teamed with a cheat.

“When you play fps only play with and against people you know to avoid cheaters” its such a stupid argument
