Already hate the new UI

It is, it really is tiny.

This is my target showing its health.

if you write again the same thing 3 or 4 times more is possible blizz hear you

My shows only my hp. Also hp of enemy never change.

Make sure all your addons are disabled. One of them might be causing the problem.

I take it you have Target and Focus ticked ?

Soon as I target an enemy or friend it pops up with their health etc.

I have all my addons disabled, could it be an addon affecting it ?

I don’t mind the new UI bit I’ve noticed a child of bugs that I hope get fixed soon.

UI resets randomly when logging out
Phantom procs
The target frame will bug out and not display enemy heath or spell/(de)buffs/spell bars

Yes, I tested. It shows when I use default ui scheme, but if I change, move frame etc, then text is missing.

Have to surprise you but nope :innocent:

Hate is a strong word. but I do encounter lua error without a single addon while trying to align the right bars. All items just basically stuck at the top left corner of the screen and even /reload won’t do a single thing to fix it. I had to close the game (Alt + F4) and reopen game, then had to change to another profile. If I edit the same profile which gives the lua error, I just stuck again. Raised a support ticket then switched back to ElvUI. Might give it a try once all things are ironed out soon or a few patches later AKA 10.3

I quite like the new UI as a start. It’s more customizable and it looks more modern.
There are some bits and bobs that could be added and improved – which I’m sure Blizzard will follow up on in a future patch – but overall, it’s a good improvement on the old UI.

And as always, then I’m sure the addon community will fill in whatever specific needs players have that the default UI won’t cover.

they did the same with character models, forced you to use the new bad ones for no reason

I still prefer Windows 7 after having used Windows 10 for 6 years.

The bag UI looks like a cheap addon, like instead of the parchment background they gave it a translucent boxy look and they massively overemphasised the textured backlayer at the same time making every empty bag slot pop out which is in strong contrast to that translucent overly clean looking backdrop.

The removal of some of the parchment texture combined with the high contrast makes it look really jarring compared to the old bag UI, it has a similar look to many bag addons I’ve avoided for years. I use ElvUI because it’s good, I don’t use the bag module because I think it looks awful and the new Blizz bags give similar vibes.

100% this. I love that the new UI is finally adding some customisation to the game by default, but I absolutely cannot stand the new minimalist look that strips away all the personality and character. I was really looking forward to trying out the patch today but I don’t think I’m gonna play until a classic UI addon gets released. The new one is just offputting to me in so many ways. It’s so weird to me that a new feature all about choice and customisation removed a lot of people’s most important choice of all.

All they had to do is to just give us an option " a 1 click option " to bring back the commonly used to old UI
but ofc no no …
same way they ruined LFG tool at end of Legion … now the whole UI is ruined

Also, it looks like the new UI is designed with a mindset of Hardcore raiding or something - as if some HC dev wants to force us into using their UI

That all looks very nice and fine and sounds great. Except you cant change your right corner. Those icons in the right corner are ugly, barely readable, I would hate to be a laptop player and having to figure them out. The main central bars looks very boring and square. All fantasy and personality is stripped and all you are left with is boxes. You use your right corner all the time, yet if you are a clicker and dont know the key commands you have to constantly clunky go to the right corner instead of the old central in the middle position with color icons you could actually see and read. IT’s a mess…especially for people who never used the stripped of fantasy Elv UI
