Already hate the new UI

I doubt they’d do that. It’s like admitting you failed.

100% this

I am autistic with eyesight that isn’t as good as it used to be. I would love the option to re-enable the old ui. Had to log out and play some classic until an addon or something comes along.

Be alright if it wasn’t BUGGED TO ABSOLUTE OBLIVION AND BACK

Why has my cast bar disappeared after carefully placing it? Never to be seen again in or out of edit mode unless I undo all my placement by using one of the defaults?

Why do my spell/icons change when I am in a dungeon compared to outside?

I was ok with it, thought i had configured everything to how i wanted it and was reasonably pleased. Then i went out in the world and started questing and discovered the target of target frame was placed directly over the target frame. The target of target frame is locked to the target frame with no way of editing it so now i have no idea what to do.

I was fairly hyped for Dragonflight , honestly. But I think I’ll finally give Classic Wrath a shot and casually level a toon there.

I just can’t stand the new UI , can’t stand the blank icons on the bottom right corner, can’t stand the frames , can’t stand the new map , can’t stand the new cast bars …

Everything looks so off to me, this an absolute killer , I’ve been using the default UI for so long (17 years-ish) absolutely mind boggling to me that they didn’t give us the option to keep the old UI many of us are so fond of and used to …

I use a Razer Naga,Nostromu with a Razeblade laptop for wow, the Dpad on the Nostromu i would use to action page my bars, so on my main bar Charge would change to intervene if i pressed up on the dpad, same as Beserker Rage would change to will of the forsaken etc and so on, the nice thing about it was press in charge is tno intervene, release its back to charge but im unable to get the blizzard UI to do the same thing the nearest i could come up with is previous and next action bar which takes 2 presses instead of hold release, very very annoying this change after 11 years, also had a red lifetime honour bar appear where my bars normally go had to move them not ideal. will Bartender4 work like it used to? i haven’t even bought DF was actually planning to buy tomorrow but gonna hold off for now.

I mean i will get used to it. But it felt like a great slap in the face. Also the zooming is so horrible i cannot describe how bad i feel about this. It’s like they’re trying to make the game feel more fresh/new, but it does not. Kind of makes it feel worse depending on how you look at it. - HOWEVER i do like the way the actionbar looks now, looks way better and seems like they changed fonts in general on playernames etc. which i like too.

Stuff has been on the right corner for a big while now and the only difference is how the icons look, which I actually enjoy the new one. You don’t need huge icons screaming at your face when you barely use them when you have keybinds to open their menus. I have eyesight issues and see them clearly

I want old UI back. I don’t use addons for UI and I don’t need this edit mode. Bring us back an old UI option please. Thanks!

Actually you do need edit mode to… guess what? Put the UI like it was before

I’ve had to use addons to remove it and to the people saying it’s very customizable I’m not sure what makes them think this. I found it very limited in options and variety

It’s customizable in the way you can put it just like it looked like in Shadowlands, but with prettier GUI

How should I explore the new talent tree with those small icons and little letters?

Talent panel literally takes up like 80% of the screen. Do you want it to spread into multiple monitors or something?

they can just make the scale higher, can´t see anything on talents need a fking magnifying glass

I’m torn on the new UI. I think it’s way overdue, but I also think it feels a little undercooked.

  • There needs to be more options for customising your UI elements, like changing the size of the minimap, hiding various elements you don’t need, altering the look of skill bar icons, shrinking the combined bag item icons, and so on.
  • You should be able to adjust element positions down to the pixel. Dragging something to roughly where you want it and hoping for the best isn’t going to do it.
  • The unit frames are pretty mediocre to be honest. That bright green colour, while fun and cheerful, looks a bit childish.

I could go on but these are some of the most glaring issues to me.

The only addon I’ve paused so far is Bagnon, but truth be told I’m considering re-activating it because of how few options there are in the base UI.

Is somebody attacking your precious Blizzard? For the things they absolutely messed up?

Did I lie on that post?

Nobody says you did. But you keep reacting to any feedback given on this forum, dont you?

If you agree with every thing Blizzard has done, why take to the forums at all?

lmaoo so am I only allowed to react when I want to moan about something?
People are complaining about wanting the old UI back when u can make the UI look like it did in Shadowlands. I’m alerting people Edit Mode exists and people should try using it before coming here to complain about new UI
