Any wowhed alternatives

Since the closure on wowhead in my country i have been unable to use wowhead for weeks wondering if there are any alternatives to the website?.

And if the forum community would help me here if i have some in game questions reaching out to you guys the good wow community is my only hope.

So if you guys and gals on the wow forums could help me out i will be in your debt people love ya all :heart::heart: .

And if you are wondering what country I’m talking about it’s Serbia. And yes I’m clueless on why the hate from them what have I or we done to deserve the hate?.

That’s a damn shame mate. I hope you get sorted with being able to play and get the information sites. . I was going to say thottbot but I just read it closed in 2010. Didn’t even know that it closed down.

There’s also icy veins. It’s a good site with lots of news but I find their guides not as good as wowhead’s.
Still a very decent alternative.

Ask away. Someone will probably help you out. I’ve asked pletty of stupid questions over the years, usually get an answer (not always a helpful one though).

As for why Serbia, not sure. Do you use a lot of Russian banks there? Or route your Interwebs through Russian servers?
I assume it’s AoE damage aimed at Russia.

Not really we only had one called Sberbank they closed them down and they moved away.

And we don’t have interwebs through Russian servers.

Just use any free VPN extensions for chrome or any other browser you might use. You are literally one click away from WoW head access. It was solution for me.

its easy to set and activate.

As for why we in Serbia dont have access to WoW head anymore, its really nothing dramatically, or hate, or Serbia is not little Russia lol…
its just WoW head dont want to make any extra costs to step into legal question that are apparently in our Country and few others.

Wowhead restricts access to six countries, citing “legal liabilities”

Icyveins is the site I use when wowhead doesn’t have what I need. But, the guides can sometimes make different suggestions to the wowhead guides, which can get confusing. Still it’s a great alternative.

The in-game forum is actually a really good place to ask questions as well despite what some may believe. You’ll get your usual memelords commenting but lots of people will help you out too.

ask players in-game?
i never use those websites, just ask in general chat and someone will know what you are asking. If not, just experiment until you find your answer.
Also, ask here if nowhere else knows.

Tor browser works for me, although it’s annoying having to use separate browser just for wowhead.

Imagine having a database on official sites like any other game…

Back to your question:

  • Talent calculator https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/game/talent-calculator
  • Database https://www.wowdb.com/
  • Advanced database https://wow.tools/
  • Wiki https://wowpedia.fandom.com
  • News https://www.mmo-champion.com/content/

Where the hell people need Wowhead in the first place? All info required to play the game is already in. Mounts, pets, transmog, gear. If you need addons, external sites or voice com to play this game you are bad. What happened to people’s brains?

Gee thanks
