Anyone else delete their retail chars or just me?

Been playing since wotlk and delete all my chars when classic launched.

All I can say is good riddence.

Anyone else done this?

No, but it is nothing more than symbolic. Your characters are never really deleted given you can restore them at any time.

Miylee as a character has been with me for many years now and she’s my entire posting persona.

It’s going to take more than a bad expansion or two to make me want to delete her.

There’s simply no good reason to delete them, it’s not like that will give you more space in Classic. I’m never deleting my retail guys, there are still many expansions to come and I might want to play some of them.

Nope. I Will never abandon my chars. They are a part of me.

Same. I don’t have the heart to delete my Retail characters. Their experiences are my experiences. They will get deleted whenever Retail WoW becomes discontinued.

I still have my 3 120s/116 on live, no need to delte them for myself but I can’t see my self logging on to live for a long time.

I have three level 120s, one of which has been my main since 2005.
Why would I delete them?

Just you.
Why would you do that anyway lol

Just you. Is madness to cancel the retail char. The hype for classic will wane. You’ll continue to play it but cancelling retail with all the backlog is just masochism.

Just you…

You’re alone on this one mate

Plot twist; he didn’t delete his chars. He just tries to make others delete theirs.

I have a really hard time beleiving that posts like these are made by 30 to 40 year olds that came back to play classic…

Even if I planned on never coming back, which I don’t, my druid got his T0.5. No way in Hell I’m deleting that.

Hottage… ? From Executus back in the day? What server you’re on?
(you most likely don’t know me… I played a lock, Xzan, Horde on Executus in TBC. Remember we fooled around in SW/IF and stuff… good times).

edit: ah, figured mouse-overing the portait icon gives out the server name…

If i would never touch my retail characters again (which i highly doubt because there are changes on the horizon) i still wouldn’t delete them.

Seems an awefully emotional thing to do imo. And as emotions go… you are definitely going to regret this action.

90% of the classic comunity are Fortnite kiddies that followed their fafourite streamers to classic.

Yes, it is me.

I moved to Sylvanas at the end of Wrath of the Lich King, when Executus became a ghost town.

Your name seems to be vaguely familiar, but I have terrible memory.
