So seemingly APES are exploiting layers, using various level 1 rogues with auto-invite addon to quickly change layers and farm black lotus, thorium and devilsaur leather en masse.
Will Blizzard do anything about this? Clearly does not work as intended.

Edit: I wouldnt be surprised if they are doing it btw, blizz said they made it harder to abuse layering but it still seems to be easy enough for people. They need to make it actually difficult to do.

This is why their Raggy and Ony kills mean nothing to most of the Classic community.

They actually didn’t abuse layering for Rag or Ony. They leveled only in dungeons to 60 and went straight into MC. No layering was required.
@xumo its not about the layering for Rag and Ony. Its about abusing the layering for Devilsaur leather, thorium & black lotus with which they can entirely ruin the server economy for years.
The problem is what they are doing now, blizzard should do a round of take a break (few hours or days) mass bans to everyone cought doing layer jumps on purpose. It was clearly stated that they don’t want the system abused like this and yet some people are doing it, historically this has a high chance to get a punishment

Yes they are abusing layering right now to make tons of gold. Blizzard will have to find a fix for that asap. But I was responding to the guy who’s trying to devalue their World First Classic Rag.
Why would blizzard be doing anything about players using bugs?

I exploited layering to get an arena trinket.
There are many bugs that can be exploited and few ppl know about them.For example speedhack was undetected from classic to tbc patch 2.4 I know players who played from my internet caffe and used speedhack in Arena and they never get baned.I think speedhack for example is one exploit that work in classic and is not detected sooo if some1 exploit layers will not be a surprise!!

Their world first isn’t really a big deal. It’s content that’s been available for 15 years. It’s a ‘World First’, yes, but not a big deal. There is always going to be players that absolutely boss a game and clear it in no time. Issue I’ve got is; people are starting to talk about them abusing layering to make loads of gold. What’s to say they didn’t use it to level in some way?
