If they can prove these people exploited the bug then punishment should be handed out.
Beyond that, the obsession about the kill of rag is getting a tad out of hand.

For something that has been reported in the beta and blizzard didnât bother to investigate if the xp values are correct?
If after 3 months blizzard didnât do anything about the values maybe is it because not even they knew if it was a bug or not?

People who did this wumblemumble should realise what they have done and accept the consecuences⌠If there is any. I really hope they will. For me tho, they are garbage, abusing a bug will always deserve lack of respect and renown.
I really hope they wont mess their whole server now, this is the only thing that matter. I dont care who are first, just the health and fun of their server and the people in it, which they didnt even cared about, which is why they should have a rollback in my opinion.

And since they hotfixed it once they found out about the exploit, I think it is just a matter of time.

If you think they are going to ban every single streamer and everybody that did 10 man dungeons you must be on some heavy drugs.
It was a bug that made it to live because they didnât bother to investigate properly and compare it to the values of their old 1.12 working client that they have used as a reference for everything reported in the beta.
Since they left the values as they were in beta everybody assumed the values are correct.
It was so excruciatingly obvious that it was a bug. Why has everyone now conveniently forgotten how xp works in raid groups?

It was reported in beta. Why didnât they fix it until now? People did the same SM grind from 30 to 40 on the streams during the beta level cap increase.
But hey now they should be banned for doing something they have done on beta for days without any changes.

Blizzard not bothering to fix the bug is hardly a reprieve for those who abused it. Not banned, but rolled back is debatable.

You canât say they abused if after the beta (which is there to find and fix bugs until live is launched) the values stayed the same.
So because someone doesnât close the house door, anyone can enter?
Streamer knew it was a bug not fixed and use it anyway, that is what itâs called an exploit.

Yes I can lol. If I stupidly leave a knife in your hands, itâs not my fault if you stab someone with it, itâs yours. Same reason if you abuse a bug, itâs your responsibility.

Because everyone who has played the game for longer than 2 days knows that in a raid group, you cannot complete quests nor can you earn much more than 0 exp. Maybe if you caps and insult people enough, it will stop being true???

I would disagree, blizzard have re-introduced many bugs back into the game because they were there in Vanilla.

My understanding is blizzard didnât address this as they felt it was something that existed once before and should be left in-game, only addressing it now as they feel pressured to do so.
