And blizzard dosen’t rollback bugs where you didn’t have to go do something Other than ordinary, bringing more people to the dungeons was usual in vanilla, they did not do anything Else than simply play the game in an efficient way…
I think you’re being dishonest. Never in WoW’s history ever has levelling via grinding through dungeons as a 10-man-raid been a thing.
You cannot complete quests in a raid group. Exp gains are almost zero in a raid group. Those who don’t know this are almost certainly very new to the game. People chose to go out of their way to join a 10-man dungeon group, while knowing full-well how raid groups work.
And blizzard dosen’t rollback bugs where you didn’t have to go do something Other than ordinary, bringing more people to the dungeons was usual in vanilla
This is also dishonest as far as other people exploiting the bug are concerned. UBRS? Of course. SM Cath? Stockades??? No lol
HAHAHA fair! people bother everything… just play the game guys
The only time guild full of gnomes get world first, horde start whining. Typical.
Gnomists!
Simple answer is no.
It was simply smart use of game mechanics. If you want to blame someone blame blizzard, not them
Funny how people are just here to cry about a guild, no care about the world first its cool for them, but you are there to play with your friends etc or just to mad about some xp and boss kill lol?
Same thing happened for so many people back in the day.
(MoP mob tagging, Lich King Saronite bombs, Naxx spell stealing, etc.)
They were also “clever use” of mechanics but got everyone using them suspended and rolled back.
Exploiting a bug to make your stuff and play a game makes you quite a “casul” player, from their own word, btw.
rerolling with proof would be enough, but idk how much people abused this…
Athene has received a level revert and also a 24h suspension for levelling the same way in MoP launch iirc.
Furthermore, the servers have been up a week and it’s not like everyone has a crystal clear memory of Classic. They probably just noticed they got more exp in those 10-man clear groups people have been running and went with it. How do they (or any of us) know it’s not an intended feature.
Yeah I know, this post is gonna be hit with the “it’s not a bug it’s a feature” meme but it wouldn’t be so obvious unless every party member is getting something like triple mob exp in a raid group, as opposed to the calculations being a bit off such that it just about makes it viable
But did all of them did it 5 man or those, who streamed ?
Disclaimer : Just asking because this line is said many times, and how people know what others do unless streamed.
Yeah man only possible way in the world to know what people are doing is if they stream. Because it’s impossible to talk to people outside of streams right?
Talk, to be honest is cheap.
and the same rules were applied as no one has been banned for it
I couldnt care less about world first of anything.
It my game to play my way and in my time.
Stuff playing 24hr+ sessions for what, a non achievement.
Sod that.
Meanwhile i’m here wondering how the hell they got revered with Hydraxian Waterlords in less than 4 days.
Because to the best of my knowledge they didn’t remove the quest requirement until 3.0.8.
Best thing about classic is - D R A M A.
You will start caring when they camp your group in blackrock mountains and steamroll you in BGs with their full tier sets and legendary weapons earned by using exploits.
they didnt get triple xp they got less just not much less. Its like “oh well guess this is a thing then”.
Nemebetas, it’s a targeted attack at an entire guild which has exploited a bug in order to get world-first.
Where’s the problem here?
Yes, they should be punished. And for the love of god stop defending them all over the forums… It’s disgusting.
