Appearance Change WoW Classic

I really have been wanting the option to change my character’s appearance, I wrote multiple tickets and suggestions about this. Please can you make a character service option available just to change our appearance… this is not ruining the game for anyone and I really don’t want to make a new character with the same class just for this sake…

This is going to make the game more enjoyable for me and im sure many others so please consider letting us change our hair color or hair style / face <3

This is an amazing Idea, would not really affect the game too much, would we get barbers/hairdressers or would this be via the client shop?

It will ruin the sense of immersion. It’s not like it would “ruin” the whole game but it’s a custom change that makes the game worse by lowering the value of the choices you make while creating your character.

Barbershops are fine, but changing faces would break immersion.

Because layering is perfectly fine with immersion? Having characters appaear and disappear in front of your eyes as they change layers is the very definition of immersion, isn’t it?

You think you do but you dont

Stop with asking for stupid things

Yea people didn’t want vanilla so it obviously isn’t the reason for a huge influx of players.

What a stupid response.
Layering is a necessity.
Barbershop is just one of billion unending demands of retail babies.
How you can compa…
Nvm.

No, layering is not a necessity. It is a shortcut to reduce the number of servers needed to run classic.
It is a convenience for blizzard and because of their philosophy to cut on costs, it has been labelled as mandatory for players.

Tell me again how many players could handle vanilla servers and how many can log on a layer simultaneously?

3000 vs 10000 was it? Where’s that “no changes” movement when it comes to preservation of player numbers?

Thought so.

Oh man. What you expect? We all know classic was a high hype and after 3 months it was dropped to like 20%. We all knew it. So whats your solution? Opening 78695 realms at release and watch them all die?

Living up to the character name I see.

I’d rather have more servers and then see to merge/migrate the ones with severely low population. It was done in Vanilla with fewer money than now, BlizzVision is just a lazy milker.

Okay, but…

John would like more mounts to be added to the game.

Julie would like transmog to be added so her character can look pretty.

Jane wants Blood Elves, I mean, why not?

Jamal thinks it’d be totally awesome if they added LFG and LFR feature.

James would like them to rebalance the classes, it’s not fair how some peform differently to others!

Shall we all cherry pick and choose what we feel would make the perfect Classic experience?

That game already exists. It is that way. :arrow_right:

I think you should just make a new character

That’s called a Straw Man argument. It’s a dishonest way to debate things…

No, layering and sharding is not fine. It ruins the game. It’s also totally unrelevent o this discussion.

Are you seriously using, litterally the worst thing ever done to this game, as an argument to add more changes that ruins the sense of immersion even more?

I’m not advocating for added changes.

On the contrary, I’m encouraging people to say no to layering and all that crap.

I’m also calling them out on their hypocrisy: #nochanges unless it benefits the person. That’s not really a “no changes” mentality is it?

And for those who don’t care about immersion and chose a face they don’t like?

These choices should not be carved in stone, it doesn’t matter to other players what you look like.

I find the immersion argument invalid.

No changes that change the actual gameplay should be made and no items that weren’t in classic should be added, changing the way you look is fine to me.

If the option is external or not in game via say a barber shop it doesn’t have any inherent affect on game-play, at least compared to what say a name change would have.
