Season 3 looks nice - sure - but playing with it really doesnt feel as good as the sets of either season 1 or 2 and i think that should be the most important aspect
Season 1 and 2 only offer boring as heck raw stats. Of course i 'll go with a gameplay change. AOE missiles is a change that arcane mage players wanted for years.
The way i see it, its not even close that Season 3 is the best. Especially when it offers solutions for both PvP and PvE
I have never asked for this kek The arcane missiles one is kinda nice, yeah, but the way it is implemented is just dumb and unfun to play around. If you were playing amge you’d know that. but instead you just vote on a set you’re not even gonna touch
Im not really familiar with WoW Forums so excuse me for not picking correctly my avatar here. If you check my characters you ll see i have 90% of my WoW playtime in 2 mages which i play since Wrath. So yeah i think i have a good understanding since i play the spec since then.
then you’d understant that Set 3 was very unfun to play. Random procs in a spec that revolves around precision is just bad. If you like procs play fire…
Seems like you are the minority on this point of view. AOE missiles was the reason for people to play arcane again. Hell ! Its the best animation in the game
The Arcane missiles are the only thing half fun about this but the rest is totally unfun to play around. Just look at the other mages in this thread. Fact is, if you had idea how to play the spec you wouldnt be calling out the missiles. It’s a cool animation but that’s it.
It is just not fun to destroy your setup for a burn when you need to use a clearcast just so you would not lose 10% total damage dealt during the burn itself… because the Missiles eat through your radiant spark like nothing and poof, gone is a big part of the damage
It is also not fun to just lose the thing when you get no clearcasts until you are totally manastarved before you can use your Evocation, which you need for Siphon storm in your big burn.
but you’d know that if you had any playtime on this mage you are posting with. in fact you didn’t play it at all, not even one of the other specs. So no. i can’t take your silly words seriously when you have no clue what you are babbling about.
I do look at the Mages in this thread and its you and two more? Whereas the community has voted for Season 3 both here and in the US server. A tier set that serves both PvP and PvE of course would be superior than two boring stat raises.
Check the latest maximum video where they discuss each choice for each class. Is this guy clueless as well ?
