There are about 725k who have all +2’s timed. So there are more caring than you think.
150k is nothing compared to the overall player portion. The last sub count estimate was 7 million for The War Within. Taking that estimate, those 150k are around 2% of the entire playerbase. And taking those 150k players AGAIN and mathing down the 0,1% selection for the exclusive title based on highest rating, out of those 150.000 players only 1.500 players will get said title.
Like I said before, it’s a lottery chance. And OP shouldn’t complain that most people don’t care about such a small chance, that is inherently prone to different success chances due to addons, unlike when no one has access to those addons and it is purely a skill defining factor, not a “who can better automatize the game” competition.

The other 6M who only do world quests do not care about addons and buffs and whatever modifications anyway.
Get a better PC, optimize or wa. My PC isn’t new with a 4090/13900k and raid/m+ it’s stable. It’s only world bosses that cause drama.

These forums are a weird place, the one button assistant is so much defended and praised by the same ‘majority’ yelling that addons removal is good because addons play the game for you.

Ah but you see addons are cheating and OBR is buikd into the game so ots not cheating. If there existed an addon (probably did) that does the exact same thing as OBR it would have been cheating becaise its an addon, but OBR on itself is not.

Yep, but people at this range are uniformed at best. You lot voted for Dawnbreaker. You voted for ara kara. The casual playerbase don’t think about what they do or claim to want.
Maybe Blizzard shouldn’t listen to the 0.1% as it makes the game sweatier.

I didn’t. As a matter of fact I skipped season 3 because I cba playing the same 4 dungeons for an entire year.
I’m not doing “high” keys and I’m probably one of the people you’re belittling but I’ll bite.
I think their goal is admirable, I have zero trust that they’ll get it right.
If their plans work out content will be changed to be do-able without addons etc. If that happens and you still find yourself needing what the addons could have given you then you probably weren’t as good as you thought and the addons were a bit of a crutch.

It boils down to harmonizing UI-utilities which affect encounter designs. Designing something around (lets say) DBM means that players without DBM have a severe disadvantage. That should never have gotten to that point, ever.

I’m gonna be blunt here…nobody cares about the desire of an individual. That’s not how companies are being run.
Sometimes less (customization) is more. Less addons → less to take into account → perhaps even simpler APIs → more control over the available info → … you get it.

Blizzard is going to tank their own game to try to pander to casuals. This is always a bad idea.
There’s no race to world last for a reason. No one cares about casuals players or what they do. People only care about high end players and personalities. Literally what keeps interest/hype.
Mate, you may not know this … but the game relies on casuals and in-game shop-whales. Not the M+ sweaty Andy.
How many really care about these races? The viewer stats are pathetic compared to other competitive e-sports tournaments. People only care for their used talents and setups, that’s about it.
In the end players care about their own experience. Too bad it’s impossible to suit them all. But it’s in almost all cases a better idea to focus on the bottom 99% than the top 1%.

mate you may not know this, but every casual knows top players. Most people watching top players ARE casuals. Most people watching RWF ARE casuals.
That’s why these events are hosted. That’s why they write guides on wowhead. You’re just wrong if you think that high end players aren’t a huge driving factor. It’s been this way since vanilla
Top players generate money for Blizzard by keeping hype in the game. This alienates them.

Top players are the cancer of WoW. The earlier we cut them out (at least their effect on the casuals) the better.
