Are you hyped for Dragonflight?

i’ve only seen the reptutation system which looked good so far personally.

nothing else really has been mentioned…

crafting i guess… but that will just fall into the hands of the already rich player base…

dragon flying and races… i done that before in gw2… its not new content… even if it is fun neither is it original…

EDIT: i have a feeling its going be a case of … do your weeklies… then either farm mythic+ or raid log…

nothing will be different from shadowlands.

EDIT2: they need a new bit of content to compete against mythic+ and raids… to make this game feel fresh and interesting again…

otherwise the only people playing it in 6 months will be the ones which stuck around through BFA and shadowlands… the ones which can’t quit.

I am not too bothered about originality of dragon flying. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with taking a good idea and implementing your own version of it, and it genuinely does look quite fun. It’s not a gamechanger but it’s not a bad thing at all.

I think DF is going to be enjoyable. I enjoyed playing even in BfA and SL to be fair, even if they weren’t the greatest, so DF should be even better.

there is nothing wrong with it i agree…

but when it it is basically the premise your expansion is named around…

it is a bad look to have that bit of content directly stolen from competition .

makes them look lazy, makes them look like they have ran out of new ideas.

i look forward regardless to maybe trying out the flying though…

i was a bit of a stunt flyer myself on gw2…

i will be going for the world record on those races. if i play.

I see a lot of people that commented feel the same way, which is kind of sad… :frowning:

i’m hyped that you guys are hyped it will make it all the more sweet when it all comes crashing down

isnt the game allready crashing in battlegrounds and raids?

Don’t think I’ve really been hyped about an expansion since cata, but expansion launches are always a good time.

This is the first expansion I haven’t looked at any leaks or announcements so don’t know what to expect other than dragons. Hopefully dragonriding serves a purpose and isn’t just a random gimmick to add mechanics to flying.

for anyone interested i wasted my personal time to make a tally… so far…

Hyped = 14
Not Hyped = 29

this tally will not be renewed as people will probably try sway it their way now they know i actually counted…

but interesting insight to players thoughts regarding this subject .

I am! I get pretty easily excited!

That’s what she… Anyway.

Not sure hyped is the right word, but looking forward to a new beginning.

Waking Shores feels like Jade Forest 2.0
Ohn’Ahran plains is Nagrand 3.0

Feels slow paced - music is nice
So it will at least be a decent adventure while we wait for the big 10.1 ‘reveal’ :space_invader:

It never came crashing down for me even during BfA and SL. I don’t see that changing for me this time around since DF is almost certainly going to be better than the previous expansions.

Cant say that i’m too hyped, atleast comparing it to bfa/shadowlands there isnt cringe borrowed power gained from mindnumbing content like expeditions or torghast

However if we’re looking at what dragonflight is than its an given that nobody is excited, raid m+ pvp will be the same game modes with very little variation, no player housing, no updated brawler guilds, no new battleground map, no archeology revamped into the new proffesion system

basically we’re gonna be playing the same base game that we’ve had for almost 20 years with an minor profession/talent overhaul wauwie

I’m actually really hyped for it, because the best versions of wow, that I experienced, are BFA, and vanilla classic, so it can only go up from there, if they apply common sense

ah but seem thats the danger of getting hyped even if dragonflight starts out fantastic it only takes 1 patch to ruin it

They would have to go some to ruin it for me. Even if the current content isn’t holding me (which I think that it will), I’m a mount and mog hunter anyway so I’ll still spend a lot of time doing that.

the meterics wasent what the stockholders wanted so they put in a ap grind and more systems and timegating

Hyped? No, but neither am I anywhere near as disinterested as I was with Shadowlands. That’s progress… I think.

more i hear about DF less hype and more i hate it …
