If you watch the PvP aspect of Classic, the things you can do here with engineering, trinkets, offhand items, consumables is beyond amazing. These things put such a deep layer to PvP that in the right hands, any class can stand its ground, not like in retail, where you are just as good, as the devs actually “balanced” your class.

Vanilla is even worse in that regard. Yes, you could buy boosts easily off Ebay and such for Vanilla. There were entire guilds dedicated to sell gear runs for IRL money. Keep in mind, 3 pieces of loot (if that many drop) for 3 people only. If I had the money back then, I could have geared myself with IRL money.
Also facerollers? Bruh, I am facerolling everything on my level 14 priest, no matter which mob if they are around my level or 3+. You clearly don’t have a clue what you are talking about or just trolling. In that case 0/10 for the effort.

In classic you have that real community feeling, in open world you will end more in a group.
You don’t have endless mana, professsions are worth learning now.
I just like classic way more, bfa feels so boring its the same over and over once you get to the world quests. And you don’t need to work with other players. In vanilla you even need to travel in group to a dungeon. That offers the time to actually build friendships with strangers you never met
