pvp is more complex. pve not really.
Indeed. You don’t. Go fetch some moms spaghetti.
For sure, for sure. The thing is that I’m asking a question for the people who said a lot on General topics before classic, that Classic was actually a challenge compare to retail when it came to Gameplay.
I’ve got nothing about people who like Classic and it’s gameplay.
lvl 10 warlock in classic atm, using equal amount of spells i use @ 120 warlock in bfa. Difference being i can actually lose mana and hp now.
That’s actually the main point that I find inferior in terms of complexity than retail (pvp)
Because it’s true. Classic is fun and what you do has weight, BFA is spamming your abilities endlessly forever, none of which do anything.
What do you expect its a 15 years old game, of course mechanics would be way easier than now and of course its more grindy because that what the mmorpg was all about during 2003-2008
Its like owning a porsche 911 turbo s and then buying a 1964 bmw just to be disappointed that it does 0-100km in 20 sec.
hyped getting green drops meanwhile in retail “oh i just got an epic for walking 10 feet and handing this in”… BFA is baby spoon fed gameplay for casuals who dont have the time to grind classic out and earn their gear… BFA just hands you everything on a silver platter
While WOTLK and MOP has best rotations and ability’s,
Classic, unlike BfA, has RPG spirit, where ur stats actually matter, ur gear is usefull from previous raids, you replace items not based of only “valuable stat in BFA” item level. But leveling is indeed boring and tedius same as BFA, just in classic its mixed with world pvp, that can be fun and unfun at same time
Classic is exactly that, spamming your abilities. How is this true, then ?
Guys guys, instead of complaining about CLASSIC on CLASSIC forums just leave the game and do your LFR, it’s reset day after all.
LOL Classic PVP has 0 complexity, more unbalanced and gear dependant than BFA and most specs are useless. Slowing an enemy with frostbolt then use more damaging fire spells doesn’t take any special skill. Classic just allowed you to use more spells as you wish. That is not complexity.
So many people claiming they played classic back then, but most are unable to read and comprehend this post like preschoolers. Instead they just see someone talking about one specific part of the game and tell them to go back to retail. Much adult community, very wow.
I don’t think anyone ever said it was more complex. Vanilla is very archaic and probably about the same complexity as BfA. The talent trees are more complex though and the game still retains everything that makes it worthwhile which was lost along the way.
Well, I really regret my lazyness back then, I should have copy past every threads on General of people claiming that.
Difference is in Retail you try to round up as many as possible, while in classic you have to be carefull to just pull 1 or 2 mobs (specially in caves etc it is alot more challanging to keep alive)
Then they probably talking about managing buffs, managing resources, more complex trees and stats that actually mean something.
“more then” haHAA OMEGALUL Pepega NA Clap
Well, anyway, even if I agreed with you on this point, I have to add that this kind of content is, unlike Classic, 5% of the retail, no more. Most of the gameplay of retail is about dungeons, pvp and raids.
In the other hand, leveling is the main point of Classic.
How does careful pulling take 300+IQ rocket scientist skill though unless the person is an absolute vegetable who has never played a videogame? Come on guys lets not over exaggerate things please. Take Classic for what it is, a REAL MMORPG which rewards you EXTREMELY often and the more you GRIND. You want to be a nolifer neckbeard, Classic will make sure you have the best armor and titles at the end of your gruelling grind, REGARDLESS of your skill.
