I don’t think there’s more variety in WoW mostly because ff14 has all the collectibles wow has plus the house decorations.
I guess so. But i prefer that, over 8~9 dungeons for 2~3 years, but here you go with one new affix each season. Now grind it from scratch every patch till you fully gear up, only for it to immediately become useless when the next patch arrives.
WOW raids are problematic too. The heroic gets done with ease for a lot of people. Then there’s mythic which only a small minority of players can clear. the difference in difficulty skyrockets. creating this massive wall for a lot of players to even bother. Difficult isn’t always better.
Wow raids are often interesting in design. But so can be said about FF14 raids.
If you’re a high end mythic raider, I probably won’t recommend FF14 for you, but a heroic raider will do just fine.
I’d disagree because for example on glam, we are limited to 400 and that empties out quite rapidly, there are far less mounts, with houses there is the issue of actually being able to get said house.
There is also the valid/invalid point that hard earned mogs/costumes/emotes will all get added to the store at some point, which totally negates my desire to farm them out personally as all my effort can simply be well, bought later on should I so desire?
If anything, this thread highlights that if people are curious about FF14, then try it, same applies to any games, you might end up having fun.
of course… That is the case with any new MMO game arriving to the scene. But Alex is literally the first to give such a detailed insight into it and response to FF as far as I’ve seen on the GD forums.
Then again im wearing a skull for a mask and drunk on jani juice. And the Shadows are kind of bordering me to insanity to the void at this point.
But these kinds of open responses and views about FF needs to be made more. Just like any other new MMO we have had up untill now.
Was happily agreeing with him :).
My only gripe with FF up until now is how people couldn’t talk about its crap without being super nice and subtle about it.
Its just unfair to every other Mmo out there so far. I tried the game three times so far. I might give it a fourth. But being sold on all this nice guy talk is making me bitter. xD
That someone can be upfront and honest about their wow comparison when they make them. On a Wow forum is massive pluss in my book.
Its okey to suggest how experiences can be different from what your normally used too.
Just don’t be sneaky about it… Because everyones gonna try it and see that sneak for what it was. And end up like me. And either you love it, Or you hate it.
Yeah sure, because 118 new replies proves your point.
Stop making your opinion mean it equals every single one else.

Such a great person has so many fans that is it hard to say who is the biggest one
What a bait >:^(
Can We a last guess wich race and class he will choose?
I dont think ppl come to Asmongold’s stream for the games. Its because of him. It doesnt rly matter, what he plays. But he will never leave wow, Im sure of that. Blizz has some sure profits in him and his fiends.
I just cant see how people can simp for a toxic ugly bald man with horseteeth sticking outside of his skull.
He even lost to Swifty in pvp lmao.
Well, people are throwing money at hot tub streamers, at least he tries to be entertaining.
Ooops can’t link that he swears in it.
Basically Asmon is going to start playing FF on July 3rd
