Baine and Proudmoore's Cinematic (spoilers)

What proof do you have that she was being shaggy and actualy only used 1% of her power in Broken Shore? Creating ice bridges =/= Freezing an entire zone and reducing walls to rubble with magic cannons all the while keeping a massive galleon afloat is not comparable to that.

They made her able to do this because frankly it is easy (and lazy) way to write off a scenario instead of coming up with an actually compelling & good story for the occasion.

And what were your points again?

She does teleport behind people in the raid while literally screaming cheesy one liners. Fact.

So she conveniently (once more) had developed a spell nobody’s ever heard of that allows her to teleport while being ice blocked?

Can’t believe Jaina was a paladin all along…

She literally is ready to turn Baine into a popsicle when she thinks her brother was the next bomb, even when Baine has always been the guy who has been ratting out info to her so she could be better off. She was literally ready to attack him over prejudice.

You’re wrong.

No, everything else combined does.

Plenty of adventurers do that all the time without tossing a dime.¨

OK so where are the rest of your great points? Good that you already chose to get black eyes because this forum argument would’ve gotten them to your character anyway.

Power creep as a whole is getting like that, Sylv and Jaina are both the most notable for each faction. Mind.

Jaina facerolled everything and escaped her raid boss fight without a scratch. That’s much worse than Sylvanas.

A few other characters have survived being bosses, and Helya was a dungeon character who left.
She has been shown to be able to teleport before

I haven’t run throught the raid yet thought

She was creating giant ice bridges EASILY. Acting like that was the full extent of her abilities is utter nonsense.

No, she teleported. The whole ‘not dying’ thing is gameplay.

Oh no, a character goes through something she has seen once before already and expects something bad to come of it like last time, how UNREASONABLE. I’m so appalled at how inconsistent this writing is.
Seriously, that’s the best you could come up with?

Adventurers needed artifact weapons to stand a chance. And still had support.
Any demon outside of BC and Legion was a leaderless, meagre fragment of the Legion’s might, and not comparable.

We PCs are the main deal of the game, so soloing Jaina should be the least to be expected from here. Typical Alliance bias and plot armour for their leaders and characters

You are the one claiming this, you should be showing me the proof to your claims.

The council of 6 keeps Dalaran floating, a massive flying city, Jaina was part of that you know. Her being able to fly a boat isn’t a problem at all.

Them cannons were basically Arcane missiles in the shape of a cannon. That isn’t anything special either and it has been establishing that you can shape Arcane magic into shapes. Stupid? Yes. Impossible to do? Nope.

Lastly, she froze blight outside of Lordaeron. That isn’t a big deal either, she has frozen bigger targets which would require a lot more skill/power to do.

Remember in the first BoL where Jania manages to freeze everyone in the room and teleport out the Alliance forces back in WorLK? This includes people like Thrall and Sylvanas. Ahhh jeez I wonder why she hasn’t done that now.

The Flying Boat is stupid I think everyone can agree. Impossible to do? No, just stupid and is meant for some kind of shock-value rule of cool sh*te.

You keep bringing up good examples while her power grinds are ridicoulsy overtuned. Keep the good job running

That’s not an answer to the argument.

Actually we don’t see her straining to do any of her abilities (including the battle for Undercity) or the raid.

So maybe Jaina is in fact Shaggy and is just using 1% of her power? In which case I ask why the hell even have a faction conflict if Jaina can flatulate and reduce Kalimdor into a glacier?

While being iceblocked. If you want to be precise in your arguments, then do so.

yeah considering it’s literally the guy who has always done nothing but good for her

Blizzard writes her off as a crazy harpy when it suits them and as Elsa from Frozen when it suits them.

There’s plenty of non player adventurers (including the warlock and the DH in the broken isles) who had no trouble fighting off a dime a dozen demons.

Demons aren’t actually any more tougher than the other threats, so there’s that.

Continuity.

Creating a bridge of ice =/= her actions in BFA.

Yeah but I don’t remember the council of six being able to do all the things at the same time but here are with Jaina being able to do everything and all. So why have the conflict even, if she can do everything and all?

My mages arcane missiles certainly don’t turn people into smithereens or reduce walls to rubble, huh…

Like when? When has she ever frozen 1/5th of a playable zone?

Imagine claiming that freezing an entire zone around a city = freezing 1 throne room.

Nice job taking a snippet again. Glad to see your so insecure in your counterpoints.

Baine delivered news with good intentions to her before, it blew up in her face. Baine delivers her undead brother out of nowhere in Theramore. Jee, y’know, that is kind of suspicious, I wonder why she would ever think something might be screwy there.
Because yeah, past trauma is just being a crazy harpy.

A warlock who merely summoned them, and a Demon Hunter. Who start at level 100. Who are inherently ridiculously powerful.
You’re not helping yourself here.

feel like pure :poop: just don’t want super saiyan characters x

Natural flow of her powers by the fact she absorbed the Thunder Kings power.

Compare the size of 1 boat to a city.

Even 1/6 of Dalaran is nowhere near the size of a boat.

What a stupid response. My Death Knight can’t put the Frostmoure weapons into the water and freeze the entire body of water thus LK makes no sense.

Comparing gameplay map with lore map, nice. 10/10.

No but them figures in the throne room are very powerful just to be contained.

She didn’t freeze the entire zone, she froze the plague parts which was temporary.

The PC should be more powerful than the leaders by default. WE are the major protagonists not some wannabe NPCs.

Hard disagree. That would be incredibly boring and was one of the worse story beats in Legion.

I miss the PC being a nameless adventurer and raids/dungeons being canonically cleared by different groups ranging from mercenaries to the factions. The rise of the PC as a force of reckoning was dumb af.

I don’t. GW2, TESO, FF14, SWTOR. They got the memo right. WoW needs to catch up with modern times.

I mean, did they? Last I checked, WoW was still considerably more popular.

Literally everything that isn’t PVE end game content is better in the other games, PvP, Leveling, story, world building, immersion. Without end tier raids WoW would have been gone by now.

That’s subjective. Or have you asked every player from all of those games if that’s what they believe?

It’s not my fault your arguments are as stable as a loaf of jelly and could be picked apart by anybody.

Of which he said he didn’t know what Garrosh’s plan was- He did, however, warn her. Her staying behind and defending the city was her conscious choice, not something Baine could be blamed of.

She’s forgiven herself and over her trauma as per her BFA questlines. But suddenly she isn’t again.

Again, harpy when convenient, Elsa when convenient. Continuity skips her.

During invasions none of the NPC’s (highmountain notably) have no trouble fending them off either.

Also DH’s aren’t inherently super powerful, they get killed and destroyed like any class does.

Source?

What a stupid argument. Hence it deserves a stupid answer.

Tit for tat.

Unironically you just made the argument worse for yourself because the actual world is far bigger than the gameplay world so yeah it is a bad comparison lmao.
