Baine and Proudmoore's Cinematic (spoilers)

Ahhh, jeez. I wonder where the source would be on Jania getting the Thunder Kings powers… Hmmmm… Perhaps the Thunder Isles and the Throne of Thunder raid?

Nope.

Nope.

You know, you talk pretty big, and yet you’ve still not actually tried to counter the point. Hmm.

So what? Baine unwittingly brought Jaina into destructive situations before. It doesn’t matter what he was or wasn’t aware of. So far as Jaina is concerned, the last time she listened to Baine, it was used against the both of them. Why would she not at least suspect it could happen again? Especially with the Horde’s recent history and track record.

She’s forgiven herself. That doesn’t mean she won’t react badly to past traumas if they threaten to repeat themselves. The two are unrelated.

Yes, the Highmountains, acting as a powerful coalition of tribes. Remind me again how they count as single NPCs fending off entire swathes of demons?

You asked me to source my argument. Now I ask yours.

Why do you think a thing that happened more than 2 expansions ago has any relevance to her power gap leap in BFA?

Your point was that she teleported. I said she teleported while being iceblocked.

What point am I supposed to embarass you with this time?

He didn’t. The complete opposite, actually. She’s got nobody but herself to blame (unironically) for Theramore alone.

Suspecting =/= About to turn someone into a popsicle.

Again, a harpy.

If she’s put it past herself then she’s over it. That’s how therapy works.

Again, she’s a harpy when it suits the narrative, and all smileys when not.

Plenty of them are engaging the demons as single individuals.

For that matter, several of your followers in order halls (some being literal rookies) are able to hold their own as well against them.

Again, demons are dime a dozen (insert baddie) here, literal murloc tier villains.

" Jaina later tasked those Alliance adventurers who had sufficiently earned her trust to assault the Thunder King’s palace and use the Staff of Antonidas to absorb his power from his dais in the Pinnacle of Storms. With the Thunder King’s power fused with her staff, Jaina planned to use the Thunder King’s terrible power on Garrosh when the time comes."

-Wowpedia.

You didn’t see her do anything especially between the ToT till BfA besides a small bit in SoO and Legion where she stormed off.

The Thunder King had the power of Raden and Jania basically took that (or whatever there was) and infused it within her staff. That explains how power increase. There is nothing to disprove this is the case and that power doesn’t loss relevancy with time.

She wasn’t iceblocked, she just can’t be killed; a gameplay addition. And something you conveniently decided not to include when you tackled the point originally. And have been dodging constantly until now.
Oh, I’m sorry, did I embarrass you?

Except he did? He warned her of the attack, leading to her getting in as many people as she could, leading to Garrosh Mana Bombing the city, as Garrosh intended. So, how the hell is she the only one to blame?

No, that’s not how therapy works. Jaina recognised she was not to blame for what happened and let go of an unhealthy perception that she was responsible. That does not mean she is over the trauma of what happened.
Are you thick?

Followers who are themselves notable NPCs with prominent experience, skill and power. And Meatball. None of them are rookies. What on earth are you on about?

Still OP-marysue-plotarmor-dragonball powerz. We can agree here.

Suspicious isn’t it?

If Baine wouldn’t have turned a traitor and Jaina not fully waged war on the Barrens it wouldn’t have come to this indeed.

Witch.

She hasn’t. She fully sulked up the Kul Tiras pov and retconed all of Warcraft 3 because of Alliance bias and human potential.

Oh boi yes.

inceblocked herself and became invincible. Literally plot armor.

Next time, don’t aid the Alliance will all your resources, soldiers, ships and building a full road through Tauren territory, included.

More like woke.

And the PC leads them. Yet Jaina is the one with the most special powers because she is Blizzard’s/Golden’s pet character.

I’ve not much interest in dealing with a bootlicker, but fine, let’s dance.

Nope. Standard teleport spell just like she did in other intermissions. Considering I have literally done this fight, I know what happens. She simply becomes immune to damage for gameplay purposes. It’s happened to so, so many other bosses before. It means nothing.

How is this relevant? You’ve taken us on a complete non-sequitur.

Yawn

Again, I don’t see what point you’re trying to make here. Yes, the player character was essentially a godmod in Legion. It was boring. Good job.

It shouldn’t have stopped. Blizzard should have elected the PCs as new leaders of Azeroth, to bring the factions together as one instead of this hamfisted bullcrap recycled plot of MoP 2.0 mixed with extra Alliance bias.

Gross. What a horrible way to enable the worst parts of an already too entitled and self-indulgent playerbase.

well the alliance where also, back in Vanilla sort of, heck a black dragon was leading the alliance, and the rest of the leaders just where not there at all.

though I kind of like it what Baine does now, becuse atleast I am hoping, next expac, will be more of an united horde and alliance instead of this war, that we have, I would not even mind if we get cross faction races, or be able to group up whit horde players.

Gross. Burn it with fire!

On this, we are agreed.

So in actuality the power was actually super mild because she gets swamped by random orc NPC’s in the raid if not guarded.

So not very strong after all.

We don’t know how powerful it was, but it seems awfully convenient that it became this strong- Because again, it is lazy and unimaginative writing.

Prove that!

She could’ve for all I know blinked away and made a wall of ice and then teleported away but she iceblocked and teleported away.

What have I been dodging? You are making a point I never made. I corrected you on being wrong, which, you have been throughout this argument, no less in this case.

Jaina allowed for Alliance military to use her (neutral) city as a staging point to Kalimdor. Theramore was a perfectly valid military target as a result and Baine did far more than necessary to warn her- She could have simply left Theramore and taken her people away with the ships & mass teleport.

No, I’m right. She did bring all of this upon herself and though she accepted that (after a few weeks of "I listen now father, lol)

She’s a harpy when it’s convenient and tragic elsa when it’s convenient (except that she isn’t tragic, she’s just inconsistent).

Like that gnome hunter who literally learns to shoot for the first time in Highmountain lmao?

Again, demons are trogg tier villains.

Not an argument not to mention rude.

since I cannot link stuff thanks to the trust-level system. I will instead instruct you to go to Wowpedia first search Argent Crusade. next the Silverhand.

the at both pages go down to the bottom to read the most recent lore of them.

I’d love to link it myself but I can’t.

If there interests is to not wage war at all, how is joining a side to their interests?

the Kirin’tor send an emmisary to each main capital to help with their portal rooms. Seems to me that indeed still stay off the conflict as a whole.

Again Busy with trying to heal a world that’s rapidly dying.
Priorities and all.
though I’d believe a large portion of the Night elven part has pledge themselves to retake Darkshore.

the Legion utterly destroyed this order.
What are they exactly going to do?

They’ve no Ashbringer for one and their numbers were severely depleted by the Legion and since at least the Horde Paladin orders has returned back to fight for their Faction.
even as the Silverhand they are not that strong contributes even if they were to pick a side, which I believe they already have as the Silverhand.

Looking at the Battle for Arathi and how they assist the Alliance under Turaylyon’s leadership.

For that matter, here’s what you’ve been ignoring and dodging since this one sided argument started:

  1. Why have a faction war if Jaina can do it all by herself?
  2. Jaina’s reaction to x event changes whichever is easier for the developers to write off. Golden has also admitted that Jaina & Anduin are her favorites and she is notoriously known to bleed herself to her characters (Which is why Anduin has magic bones that tell him what to do and Jaina goes from trying to be a tragic elsa character to a strong independent female who need no man and can level cities if she so wishes). What proof do you have to state otherwise?

She does not iceblock. Have you done the fight? Yes? No? She becomes immune to damage. Like many other raid bosses who don’t die, in the history of the game. It’s not new. It means nothing.

Valid military target =/= justify a war crime.

This is the densest trash you’ve posted yet.
No, she did not accept it was all her fault. That would be exactly the opposite of recovering from trauma.

Oh yes, I’m sorry Hunters don’t have any lore relevant NPCs. Or at least, not enough to fill out a whole roster.
And no, they’re not.

Who the hell has even suggested she could, other than you?

I’d like to see this example of Jaina levelling a city, but that sounds an awful lot like fabricated hyperbole. Because that’s apparently all you can throw out.
Every writer has favourite characters. That doesn’t mean they’ll go out of their way to write them better than everyone else. Anduin was a saint way before Golden came in, and we’ve already dumped your whole shtick on Jaina numerous times, so just repeating a hollow mantra is really not doing anything.
And as for reactions to events changing, please do provide examples, or its just more meaningless rhetoric.

Baine voice Theramore was a legitemate military target.

So it’s plot armor.

Apparently she can solo win against anything which makes this faction war story meaningless.

She almost did. Proof enough for me about her being OP mary sue alliance bias dragonball power tier.

Wrong.

You must be trolling at this point xdddddddddddd.

Gameplay mechanics.

He is very power, both the Thunder King and Raden.

The Thunder King fought with the White Tiger for a straight 30 days, it is said he can beat the Lich King in a 1v1 and he died to a Titan Artifact.

Raden created the elemental plains.

Enough said really, even a fraction of that power would be more and enough to explain how power creep.

You don’t know the meaning of the word if that’s your conclusion.

She’s never been shown to, never been demonstrated to, your just fabricating meaningless trite.

Yes. With the focusing Iris. Not her own power alone.

Hahahahahahahaha
