Raiderio is there to simply show your experience.
Yeah there are some clowns that says “oh you don’t have X score omg you suck bla bla” but they are not the majority at all, most people simply use it to look at people experience.
If an addon tilt you so much just find a guild that will do keys with you and you won’t need rio at all.
Also:
Everyone is different and likes different things, if WoW is not the thing you like to spend your free time on, or you are too busy irl you can’t really blame it on others.

But your highest M+ is a 9?
My personal choice was because I came only levelled during late bfa and by the time I got to endgame no one was interested in doing lower than 10+ keys and the only resort was pugging to which came to no avail thanks to RIO so I’ve given up M+ is crap anyway it’s full of idiots.

The person whose score I posted above actually lacks time to play this game - school, work, family but this game is his way to relief some stress, and so he cannot even attend our 2 days raid schedule. So if one of his 2 days is non raid day he jumps into M+ and he has built himself up.
I have half of his score. Because I have never aimed higher, and it is not RIOs fault, but my choice and I wouldn’t even dare to pound against my chest screaming “I deserve to have all what the other player has just because I decided to play differently”.

RIO is just a CV you show to strangers so they know if you’re up to the task.
If you never wanna use RIO, get friends who wanna do M+ with you. There’s nothing wrong with RIO at all.

And why you think I do M+ with a guild/friends ? I cannot stand PUG trolls and my time is way too valuable to me. I do not have RIO installed. I only know mine because someone said that if you do all 15s you get 2100. There I do not even know if its true.
But it is NOT RIOs fault if people do not invite you. It is that PUGs always have sought the overgear and safety nets. Joining expansion half way solo without network has always been hard for people.
Only way people wouldn’t judge you would be ban armory. But you know what happens when Blizz would close armory ? Same thing as in vanilla would happen - we’d start to scan peoples gear in-game+ ask ilevel which is even dumber way to presume persons experience.
