Bank Logs and Bank Data Storage - inaccurate or non-existent

For quite some time now, people have been reporting spotty or non-existent guild bank logs. This has been brought into focus due to the fiasco around the guild vault bug which saw many guild vaults wiped out and Blizzard’s inability to return the items that went missing.

One of the main blockages for people, and one of the main complaints (other than the obvious of missing items), is that most people had very little specific knowledge what was missing - for anyone who has their spells on their bars and then one day sees an empty space, they know how this feels!

I don’t know whether the lack/inaccuracy of guild vault logs was also a factor or a symptom of why Blizzard felt they couldn’t return the missing items, but could we have some idea of when or even if the logs for the guild vaults will be fixed?

Because we can no longer rely on guild vaults, people are tending to rely a bit more on warband or personal banks … but these have no logs at all and they, too, are starting to see reports that items are going missing. Is the same system that was used to track items in the guild vault, being used to track items in the warband bank and personal banks?

Going bank many years, I remember being able to access the logs for our guild vault on the Armories … this was searchable and filterable and went back a considerable time, not just X number of entries. It’s a pity that’s no longer a thing …
