I agree, but that just leaves us wondering, what it this about? No one knows anyone that got banned, to me this sounds like a fear tactic, and not a very good one at that.
Or to try to take as many Ws as possible. Since this issue is pretty split, I do not have the data, but they surely have. Something tells me that they announced this because their data shows that most people are complaining about m+ leavers.
Its a shame its only repeat offenders, but considering they have shifted their stance even somewhat

You get lots of wipes that results in high gold repairs and a huge time sink or waist of it if depleated that results in NOT FUN!
Ofc I wold want to Leave and I will leave on first sight of that party. But now Blizzard is protecting those Braindead ppl and punishing You for not guiding them or stay till the end of the run even if you see it as a waist of time.

When I leave a fail M+ its for 2 reasons:
- My Time not being waisted any longer
- Gold save from repair costs.
But whit this action the Bllzzard is taking now, you can’t even do that your basicly a prisoner now of fail partys for M+
PS: Btw ppl can also harass you if lets say all 4 members of the group hate you and wants you suspended
so basically you are trapped and forced to play with bad players that die over and over?
mayb bliz should of done a survey to learn why people leave groups.

Leaving once, or even 2-3 times every once in a while will not get you banned. Joining keys in order to leave them and troll will get you banned.

Oh dont get me wrong, i do not in any way condone leaving an easily timeable key. The keys i am talking about are those where it is glaringly obvious its gonna be a deplete, and you have nothing to gain other than a measly 5 crests.
Unless there is toxicity going on in chat directed at me or a friend, thats an instaleave.
Thats the same people that invite a warlock and kick them after getting cookies.
