20 years since WoW was launched and there is still no barber in the major cities in Era, the hairstyles must be wild by now.
It would not ruin the gameplay if you could go to a barber and get a haircut, would it?

Retail is that way
yes it would.
Guys! Stop with this idiocracy.
I am the first to sent people into Retail if they require X or Y changes which has no place in Classic, but this is an additional fluff one which will be a very welcome one.
I remember (kids?) like you, crying over the HD texture of Classic back in 2019. You jumped like cavemen “OMG!!! TIS IS NO VANILLA!! WE WANT OLD RESOLUZTION!!” . “Ok here you go” said Blizzard. And guess what? They still use HD one to this day.
So yea, but no, it won’t ruin anything. Except the ego of few hardcore fans.
Make a new character if you want them to look different. This isn’t retail.
This is one fluff. What is the next fluff? Battle pets? Summoning stones? Free 100% mounts? Enchanting vellums? More flight points? All nice changes indeed, but we can also agree the only place they belong would be SOD or Cata - not Era or Fresh.
I mean every other profession can sell their crafts or gathered supplies on ah except for enchanters. We have to spam trade with silly sales pitches and have addons that instantly invite people who ask for an enchant in chat. Would it really influrence the game adversly for anyone involved if we got vellums? If so, please explain how.
Tbc prepatch fligt paths also don’t exactly diminish the game in any way, but i get the protest there.
Playing Classic WoW means being part of a community where players generally recognize each other - they know your name, race, class, facial hair, and hairstyle.
If Blizzard introduces a barbershop, it would alter this sense of identity because players could change their appearance, disrupting the static and recognizable nature of characters. While it might seem like a minor detail, it impacts the mentality and philosophy of the Vanilla experience.
If you’re worried about being unhappy with your character’s appearance, take the time to create one you truly like from the start.
Do you mean Era or the new anniversary servers here? Era really doesn’t need changes. For fresh I don’t really care as I don’t play there
“BRING BACK WINDOWS XP, INTELL i3 #NoWIFI”
They are not hardcore fans. There is something other going on and you know it.
not everything needs to be the damn same. go play a different version of the game; they exist.
Oh, so the answer is no, adding enchanting vellums to the enchanting supplies vendor would not affect anything negatively, and in fact reduce trade chat spam. But you don’t want it because it was not in the game 20 years ago. Right. I was wondering if there is an argument against it, not emotional crying.
They are always…emotional crying. They have no other argument except “NOT 20 YEARS AGO!! NOT NOWZZ!!” .
ERA was dead, but thanks to ADDITIONAL plays, addons, etc like Hardcore one, it got …ressurected . But hey! Changes are bad!!
this is vanilla. enchanting vellums exist in wotlk, which is coming. you also get your homogenized professions at the same time so there’s no need to complain about enchanting not having the same combat advantages engineering does, either (which you would ofc inevitably complain about if it was otherwise)
nothing more needs to be said.
Right, your argument against making enchants sellable on AH is “I can read your mind and you want enchanting to have same combat advantages as engineering”.
Truly brilliant. I’m in awe.
No, it is not. Not at all. This is 20th Anniversay Classic server launch. It is only tangentially related to “Vanilla WoW”.
nahh nahh im right nahh nahh youre wrong
