Battle-net launcher - logion session expired

same for me

same here. every startup

everytime i need to login again and i dont have any network issueā€™s at all.

problem started this morning.

Please try deleting Battle.net Cache to see if that helps.

It may also help to uncheck ā€œKeep me logged inā€, login once and then on the next login recheck the ā€œKeep me logged inā€.

uncheck and check helped thanx for the info (once after that it was back)

Nope didnt work clearing the battlenet cache didnt work either.

Annoying please remove the game and give us our money back

Got exactly the same problem, checking the box for ā€˜keeping me logged inā€™ is no help at all ā€¦ maybe Blizz could give us another solution !!

same on both PCs since BN Launcher Updateā€¦

Same issues here, started happening today

It is not a cache problem it seem to be a general issue.
They are also reporting it over on the US forum

I too am being impacted by this issue. Since Friday morning whenever I reboot my PC I am required to log in again. neither deleting the cache nor toggling the checkbox has had any impact on the issue.

Battle.net cache worked for me. try it!

Reinstalling Battle.net launcher and removing temp files fixed the issue for me. I followed the instructions on this blue post: https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/blizzard/t/trying-to-reinstall-battlenet-app/34803/3

Edit: This was a temporary fix, itā€™s happening again.

Thx Laenien.

I have the same problem.

I start battle net and i have the message (keep me logging in)

Your login session has expired. Please log in again.

Error Code: BLZBNTBGS80000023

What i need to do?

Yep same issue with me this afternoon.

Hey all,

As was mentioned in the post linked a bit earlier in the thread, weā€™re taking a look into that from our side to see whatā€™s causing that to happen.

Thanks for the reports submitted so far, itā€™s always helpful to have multiple examples for our development teams to look into in situations like this!

Gonna chime in here.

I have this as well and have to type in the password every time. I should have checked here first cause it seems this is not really my issue at all.

But my query is this.

I just followed their jump through the hoops before we take you serious routine of, you know, the updating of drivers, MSINFO and DIDIAG submission, resetting router, startup tab, firewall to defaults ectā€¦list is long.

So i did all that and made a ticket and submitted all the info they want so they take me srious since typing a password in every time sort of defeats the purpose of the app as it supposed to rem that info.

Now i have no ticket after spending nearly 30 min jumping through all their hoops gathering the info they want and submiting it.

Is there a delay between ticket submitted and the info coming up in the ā€œMy Ticketā€ section of that page?

EDIT>ā€¦Fixed now by following these instructions psoted here in thsi thread. They are burried so i will post them again.

These errors can happen for a few different reasons. Letā€™s try restarting the PC and then do a clean reinstall of the Blizzard app:

  1. Uninstall the Blizzard app
  2. Next open the temp locations and delete any Battlenet and Blizzard folders you see in each location. Press Windows Key + R and type:
    ā€¢ %LOCALAPPDATA%
    ā€¢ %APPDATA%
    ā€¢ %TEMP%
    ā€¢ %PROGRAMDATA%
  3. Finally go ahead and reinstall the app from here . Make sure you run as Admin .

If this persists, try creating a MSinfo and then open the text file. If it says ā€œCanā€™t Collect Informationā€ that would indicate a problem with the Windows WMI service. Here are some steps to fix that problem.

Yeah this fixed it for me as well.

Shame. Cos i just spend the last 45 min now, running and jumping through their ā€œwe wil only take you serious steps if you do these things routineā€ of ā€¦

Updating drivers and OS

Reset firewall to defaults and looking for any issues first
submitting MSINFO and DXDIAGā€¦gotta know how to find and get that info if you dont know alreadyā€¦another step that takes time for those who dont know

Looking at startup tab and disabling anything ā€œsuspiciousā€ā€¦as in anything not battlenet requiredā€¦as if you dont use your computer for anything else

traceroute and ping diagnostics routed to a text file in root drive

Iā€™m been having this problem Today everytime i try to launch this game

same hereā€¦
