But those quests to kill 10000 boars for 10 tongues is still the same regardless of the name. And they are not even marked on your map and you have to RUN to get there after you have skimmed trough wowhead to find out which of the boars may or may not drop the tongue.
Atleast retail has stuff to collect and alts to level. What can you collect in Classic? Not mounts or achievs or mogs for sure. And why would I go through the boring grueling experience of lvling more than one char in Classic? I am not into raids or mythics but atleast retail has content for me to do
IMO class design in BFA was a failure because too many abilities were turned into talents.
Artifacts were quite enjoyable, and going back to regular weapons is really disappointing.
Rep has sucked since the ability to grind it with tabards was removed so that’s not strictly a BFA problem I guess.
I don’t want to hate or be negative either but as soon as someone makes a thread about WoW in any negative context, it gets higher likes than usual.
Anyways, PvP could have be meh even without Faction vs Faction expansion. World quests are meant to be repetitive and boring, however they are far better than dailies.
If you aren’t raiding, I have no idea why you would be obsessed about HoA.
What is your bg/arena rating?
How many mythic raid bosses have you cleared?
Why?
Most a bit higher m+ don’t reach 40 minutes, unless you don’t time them.
How so? :o
The only WQ you have to do are the Azerite ones, and that is only if you care about doing better content because if you don’t you have zero need to grind WQ.
WoW have ton of activities you can do, if you don’t like anything the problem is not WoW but the fact that you chose the wrong game.
If you limit yourself to only doing mythic plus and are not very good at it, don’t have a group to push keys with, then yeah… I guess it’s boring after a while.
BFA is not boring for me at any point.
BFA is fine.
You can say that again, even on 8.2.5 release it was hard to find tribute runs for Uldir and BDO,come sunday you can forget to form a decent group for normal/hc those raids.
We where not even mid expansion and people where doing past expansions content farm/grind,anything but BFA content. That tells alot.
you tell me
World Quests are only Dailies in a new format. The difference is instead of being stuck with a chain of the same or very slight variation of dailies we get to choose the ones we want to do directly.
I don’t really understand why people think they are that different. If we put an NPC in a zone and they make you go through the same chain of events for each day, how is that better.
I started BfA like 3 weeks ago…
I just think people like to complain. Does not have to be a valid reason.
I think you need to find friends to have fun with ingame
Whaaaaaaaat? Really? No waaaaaaay!
#totallyshocked
i find WQ+emissary+paragon concept quite solid on its own. In most times I can pick things I like, or when I am bored can do whole bundle of those. And often when you go to other faction area you can discover locations and mobs you did not even know to exist. Or in Legion you found random missed quest chains like that. Just because you had WQ mob nearby.
On their very core WQs dont differ from any other quest in game. Now my own personal nag with them is that when zone does not at start do not come with coherent plot (i.e. timegated gnomes, or nazjatar which chain is relatively short and then you have many areas making you think “what happened here ?”).
In ideal you’d have 1st zone have its own mini story (which links to main story) and then WQ would get you back to either named mobs, or hidden locations and repeat story bits. But not be like “heres X mob you never heard of it, kill him… and tomorrow and day after”
Ehh Lets be real now, people say this about every single patch/expansion and yet they still stick around, 8.1 will is the last chance, 8.2 is last chance 8.3 is the last chance. same happened in legion.
Dont get me wrong i agree its not so great lately but even when people wont enjoy the first patch of shadowlands, they’ll come back to say 9.1 is the last chance.
People said that about Legion after WoD. And it definitely delivered. Legion was amazing from start to finish (with some hickups along the way).
True, both sucks at any rate lol wish we had more active and lively events instead
Besides Tmog weekly farm (assuming you don’t have all the cool mogs you need), dungeons. What is there to do, wish we had fresh endgame activities for once that isn’t the same old 15y formula.
Don’t tell me WQ or the weak small event in Nazjataar
