Blizzard cancels a us server connection!

What’s shocking to me is Gay people openly coming out and saying they don’t want stright people near them and Blizzard doesn’t see this as descrimination? Turn it the other way and there would be mass bans and Blizzard would ignore them. Hypocrisy. Equal rights is very important to me, If you’re gay I’m all for getting rid of homophobes out the game as much as you, However don’t sit there and think it’s ok to single out a group of people and prejudge them and think you’re any better. I tar you with the same brush.

Everyone is their own person, I’m fed up with this slapping everyone into a group and basing how they act on it, Total hypocrisy.

Some posts in this thread would action a ban and nobody says anything because it’s against stright people.

Well mapping the genome gives a wealth of knowledge on diseases and as far as I know they haven’t found a “gay gene” yet, there’s merit in both sides of the discussion but maybe a forum of people pretending to be goblins and mages isn’t the best place to discuss it… Or maybe it is who knows?

Assume all the ramble and pseudo theory you want to spread and believe none of that matter…

It is such a stupid thing to make false assumptions and take them for evangile truth.

Right back at ya !

What is stupid is making statements about gay people and how you apparently have no issue with them but then stating how you’d be devastated if your sister ever turned out to be a lesbian without any reasoning behind it. Of course people are going to question it or make assumptions.

If you’re going to make such statements then stand by them with reasoning and your logic behind it otherwise just keep quiet.

What is stupid is being overly triggered from a different and on top of that personnal opinion that wasn’t adressed to you in the first place.

Neither you or me get to tell others not to express their view on it and to keep quiet.

Sway in front of your doors before telling people they should remain silent, right back at ya again .

If you’re going to say something, own it. Don’t hide when people question what your reasoning or logic is behind anything you say.

I’m not triggered, that’s a really poor deflection from someone to scared to state their real opinion.

Once again…

If you’re going to say something, own it. If you’re not going to own it then its best just to be quiet.

What?

Right back at ya?

Its hardly a “Gotcha” moment when you hide your real opinions on the matter.

Pathetic.

Touch again… *, you certainly look like someone not being triggered and calm at the moment.

What is truely pathetic is how you keep trying so hard.

Carry on hiding troll. That’s all you’re doing here.

Can the both of you just get a room?
It’s this kind of nonsense of a few that makes ‘Lazy Blues’ delete a topic. :stuck_out_tongue:

You don’t need my help, you are not even worth me going as low as calling you with petty insult.

You are doing well on your own and i wish you an excellent night !

I’ve ignored the troll now.

My time is too valuable to be spent any further on someone who hides and refuses to back up their opinions.

My honest apologies ! I am down with him/her. /brush hands

I played on a US server for several months and I would say I have found them to be incredibly toxic. I experienced transphobic comments over general chat with zero provocation and it is rife over there.
I can certainly understand the need for a ‘safe space’ on US servers and I can understand Blizzard wanting to give them the ability to retain that.
US society is not as progressive as most of European. not saying we are a perfect society ourselves, but we do tend to be more moderate.
I mean, it really was horrible over there. that’s why I came back, even though I really loved the ability to play in daylight when I was playing over there.

Can’t we all just get along?

Seems not, When people can’t understand each other on the server they are on and when you’re blocked from interacting with people who have a different sexual preference to you, Kind of forced not to get along at that point.

I honestly can’t see what anyone’s sexual orientation has to do with WoW.

I don’t see what it has to do with anything except when sleeping with someone or being in a relationship, Didn’t know I was on match.com all of a sudden.

I’m 50/50 on this. On one side you’re helping protect a group that has faced a lot of discrimination over the years, however on the other side its potentially promoting division between people which is just as bad.

Exactly. The whole LGBQT only realm is absolute nonsense

Oh there is no doubt about it, There is someone who will randomly use the F word around gay people to trigger them or insult them, However guess what will happen to their account then? Bye bye. The majority of people really couldn’t care less. Report the very few people who are idiots like that.

Where does the line stop? It’s beyond backwards the whole seperation logic. I wouldn’t have met some of my gay friends if they had the same attitude, If they pre judged me of hating on them, It’s wrong.

Why is it ok to assume people are a negative thing like a homophobe because they sleep with women? What’s the difference to someone gay doing that? Hypocrisy.

I don’t like being called a homophobe for not doing anything wrong as much as a gay person hates the f word. Who decides one is ok but the other isn’t exactly?

Btw i’ve heard Gay people really descriminate against trans people in a gay bar before, I hear that happens quite a lot, So what next trans communitys and gay community seperate too? Just incase?

They are giving homophobes what they want, Surely you would want to go near them to annoy them if you felt that?
