It’s absurd now Blizzard.
Look in Blackrock Mountain. Do a /who Blackrock rogue, and just see for yourself. Look in Stratholm on any realm, the guildless mages/druids/priests. Look out in the world, you see more bots than levelers. See all the flyhacking bots doing Black Lotus. See all the herbing bots 24/7.
Fix the bots!
We are paying a full subscription to play a copy of a 14y old game. You choose the client. There is no excuse for this.
I can imagine the panic at Blizzard HQ when 1 sub threathens to quit unless they ban 50+ subs.
I have played emulated Vanilla since 2015. Classic is BY FAR the worst emulation I have played. I must say that I did NOT expect Blizzard to have more bots, more bugs, more lagg, and slower and worse customer support than free private servers. It’s absurd how they can make such a bad version of their own game.
Perhaps, but it doesnt make the threat any more effective. Many complain and keep on paying, Blizzard couldnt care less - as is shown.
i feel for you, but blizzard wont even get rid of the bugs/lags/bots etc, since they are too cheap to take some real money into their hands and start fixing the aformentioned issues.
The sad fact is, that they just dont need to since they make so much money off of classic.
I also played the emulated vanilla experience for a long time and the private server i played on was superior to the current classic servers.
Keep in mind, that a billion dollar company does a worse job than some backyard russians.

True but those russians were passionate about their project. Like Blizz North of old. Todays multibillion firm understaffed and underpaid employees won’t care as much about the servers or player experience.
Classic is ending anyway and they already cashed in.
I have cancelled my account today. Sounds more dramatic that it is. It ends in January. If Blizzard can’t provide a decent Classic experience I will look elsewhere again.
That’s all I ask for personally, a DECENT Classic experience. Give me that and I will gladly pay a subscription until the day I die. But right now, it ends in January.
What you are looking for is 101% classic as it was in 2005. You will never get it from Blizzard. And yes I know 101% is impossible, but that’s what I think you want, the impossible.

Enough people will still sub to bot plagued game so blizz really wont need to do anything, they grab subs of bots and non bots. And yeah that sucks
Back in the day you had ‘private servers’. That stuff was better than classic is.
What does this have to do with bots? You know that regular players are allowed to be there?
Also, a lot of people have guildless gold farming alts. Doesn’t mean they’re bots.
