I cant even describe by words how i am mad, sad right now at blizzard after what they did to me.
It was a regular day, after work as usual I wanted to do some pvp in world of warcraft and relax with some friends. But out of nowhere I see these lines on log screen: “This World of Warcraft account has been closed and no longer available for use”. The reason of ban was even more strange than this: “HACKING USING 3RD PARTY PROGRAMS”.
For a moment I thought "alright maybe blizz were thinking I am a bot by mistake ,but how?
How Carl, how this is even possible when all I do in this gamefor now is just pvp and world pvp. I am not even a pve player anymore , I dont even do dungeons anymore. Just imagine my pain rn, u invest 4+ years on your only main, and not just main , it was a ret paladin , full bis , naxx gear and etc. Ret paladin is very hard, and painful to gear up in general and takes a lot of time and effort.
Ofc I wrote a ticket , but still no real respons to my issue. Why , why the guy who did nothing wrong who was banned by mistake , must wait days, weeks, monts , or even years in order to finnaly be unbanned for reason that not even exist ? And all that pain , sadness, stress for nothing…

Blizz finally unbanned me. Thx to gms , who understood my situation with false/mass reporting!
I’ve read they banned a lot of players for using the Auto Hot key script that allowed many people to interrupt casts on cooldown automatically.
Paladins don’t have interrupt, but If you play anything with a kick / pummel type of ability and used that, this is my wild guess.
Exactly. I dont know even real reason for that.
It could be anything. For example mass false reporting, which hpnd to Upright , or when I was killing lots of ppl In tanaris (last days), or when I was farming runecloth solo in wpl , in order to make gold for world pvp, or my oneshot macro , but it has nothing special, it combines goblin sapper charge, firehelm item and reckbomb sealtwist, nothing more nothing less

Dunno if it’s related but there was a post on us forums about curseforge being hacked. They advised not to update any addons for 24 hours because of a chance of third party software hitting your pc.
Maybe it’s something along those lines. I’m too lazy to Google more info right now but it might be worth checking out.
U are right but its not my case. I was banned befeore curseforge was hacked. I asked my friends about this situation , and they said it was hacked only today, i was bunned maybe like 5 days ago
Probably got mass reported by some casuals that couldn’t handle the whitmane style and stupid blizzard is too cheap to hire actual gamemasters to look into it.
All ok for now, ban was lifted , but still no respons why , and how exactly system got triggered to ban me. But I only know that ban was actualy by blizz mistake
If someone abuses reckoning 24/7 , no wonder the banhammer was triggered. 2 weeks minium ban, it must be a mistake that the ban did resolve. We casuals must report this crime again
