If âLolalightâ is the character youâre playing, youâre kinda asking for Harrasment with that name. Considering that âLolaâ in most countries is short for âLolitaâ which is literally a doll for adult activities.

So you are justifying their behavior because of my name? I am not sure what country you are from, or how you are familiar with the use of Lola in âmostâ countries, but I have not deserved the treatment I am getting from the stalker.
Not trying to justify it. Just saying that I wouldnât take someone with that name serious personally. Itâs not reason for them to be harrased, but I wouldnât believe they were a serious roleplayer either.

If I was not serious I would have just made a new character a long time ago. And for context itâs a name I got from a blood elf name generator.
"Lola is a feminine name of Spanish origin, meaning âsorrows.â It is a shortened version of the name Dolores which derived from a Spanish title given to the Virgin Mary, Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, which translates to âOur Lady of Sorrows.â
I even googled it and canât find anything of what you mentioned.
All the people suggesting naming them here, on Twitter, in Reddit or elsewhere, thatâs really not a good idea. Blizz have a rule not to do it because people were doing it falsely and accusing people of all kinds of things that they hadnât done. Banning the posting of names helps protect the innocent but also doesnât help those who are being treated badly by others.
The only place you can report it with the name is in-game by clicking on them and a ticket for on-going harassment (Iâm presuming thatâs still a thing).
I wish you the best of luck to get it solved and please ignore some of the posters here who think itâs funny to mock people having problems ingame.

Yep, this is what I am doing, though the response time for my ticket is going upwards instead of down. I will go to places with many people so many more can report him. Just now he started harassing both me and the 2 people I was rping with in booty bay.

Unfortunately Iâm guessing the ticket queue has gone up because of the pre-patch and people having problems with it. In most cases tickets canât solve their problems and they need to do bug reports instead ⊠but it makes the queue very long for those needing help.
Really hope this takes a happier turn, like some miracle happening that bans him
One option would be to disable tracking in the TRP3 addon, if you use it.
That way at least he canât that easily find you.
Already done that, and I usually tell the people I RP with to do the same, since he just tracks everyone and visits each dot until he finds me. I just logged on after having had some food, and now he is right on top of me again.
Say⊠a weird question but weâve had various threads on the AD forums about a stalker, are you the same person by chance?
I am not the same person, but I did speak with the person you are referring to earlier today, I met her by chance in Booty Bay, and she told me that she is 100% sure that this could possibly be the same person. Since the Pandaren characters look similar, have similar ish names etcetera.
I realize that 100% and possibly contracicts each other, but alas, she is pretty sure itâs the same person that have harassed her for numerous years.
Is there a chance that stalker is a RP-stalker? As in RPing as a stalker.
Or are there clear rules in place to make sure identifying as such could not be used as a cop-out?
No, if it is the same person we speak about, it is some creep with an agenda against roleplayers.
I heard a lot of stories about said person over the years. Including from one of my guild masters.
No no, he is just standing on top of me, dancing and spamming toys. he never speaks, he does not have a roleplaying addon either.
Currently I am standing with a group of ⊠12 people, and he is right on top of me, and since he is Pandaren and I am blood elf, nobody can even see me or target me to rp properly with me.

This is incorrect on many levels actually. The nickname âLolitaâ is actually short for âDoloresâ, not âLolaâ. Itâs a very old-school pet name, used for children.
Lolita then went on to be used as a name for a book, about a girl named Dolores, which is where the connection of the word âlolitaâ was made to underage girls in promiscuous settings. The book, itself, is about unreliable narration and is /against/ the sexualisation of minors.
Lolita also refers to a Japanese fashion built around modesty, as a movement /against/ the sexualisation of young girls. This is the most common interpretation of the word in modern usage, and has no connection to adult activities.
Lolalight is a perfectly acceptable OOC name on Argent Dawn, and I think itâs a stretch to even try to attach the name âLolaâ to âlolitaâ in /any/ of the contexts of the word. I understand if you are not a roleplayer and are not connected to the culture, but OOC names arenât really a factor in treating anyone seriously in RP.
Sorry for jumping in, but fashion is a special interest of mine as well as literature, so I wanted to correct misinformation on that.
Additionally, no matter anyones name or how they present themself, nobody is ever âasking for itâ. The person at fault is the person doing the bad behaviour, not the victim. In this case, the issue is with the person who has nothing better to do on evenings than stalk someone else having fun online lol.
