Blizzard not protecting their players from harassment

Lola is a genuine girl’s name.

Lola is a feminine name of Spanish origin, meaning “sorrows.” It is a shortened version of the name Dolores which derived from a Spanish title given to the Virgin Mary, Nuestra Señora de los Dolores , which translates to “Our Lady of Sorrows.” This biblical name carries the message that understanding the sorrows in life is necessary in order to experience joy—a lesson that will help baby Lola to be in tune with their emotions.

Do you think retaliating by banning someone being harassed is going to look good for the company?

After my roleplay in Stranglethorn was ruined all day, I went to Tanaris, even put on war mode as I think maybe trials couldn’t follow me then, but no, got 15 minutes before he was there. Oh well.

wow, this dude really likes you o.O

Well the good news is that the response time for my ticket has gone up with another 7 hours, wait, that’s not a good thing… it’s like swimming against the current.

At least I am a mage and can teleport around, but bringing the roleplay with me is the issue.

You could get a big group of friends with you and mass report him when he comes again he will get banned.

Maybe a solution to stuff like this at least could be to not let trial characters use toys and/or emotes.

And/or the Neural Silencer should maybe block stuff like that too. I’m not exactly sure what it blocks currently.

Wha, I find the description of the item very unspecific. Im intrigued enough to look against what kind of annoyances it helps me, there are many things :dracthyr_a1:

Neural Silencer Mk3
Item Level 1

Use: Makes you immune to some annoyances.

You are both partially right, I tried using the Neural Silencer Mk3, this is apparently the dragon isles version, and does not work to prevent the use of the annoying football toy that the stalker uses to harass me, however the normal Neural Silencer works to block the toy, though he just stands on top of me and dances regardless.

Wowhead doesnt have very good explanation for the item. So it blocks toys? I might have to google this :dracthyr_shrug:

Yes those two items blocks various different toys, like stuff that forces you to dance and stuff like the disco globe etcetera.

Well that can be useful but doesnt help much with something that blocks view on screen. Dunno if should let trial accounts use toys like some suggested but Idk would that be good on bigger picture then either when the idea of tiral account is get new players in the game by letting them first test stuff in the game :dracthyr_shrug:

The automatic report system should be less tolerable with trial accounts.
Let’s say you need 10 000 reports on a normal account, or something like that, because the number must be insane since nothing ever happens.

Then a trial account should just need 1000 before getting banned.

Not easy to solve. I dont envy any who have to puzzle with it for living. On other hand I also dont like how report system works in retail for either good or bad. I dont know, I feel like vanil I saw less problems from report system but retail its constant reading something of it and usually negative either that it dont work or that ppl receiving constant warnings from playing pvp and calling things like target but then some report on it out of spite cause they can. There were some problem with it in vanil too however but nothing on the scale I see in retail now. Its mmo and I wish ppl could feel safe talking in it too and currently Im afraid say anything inside any battleground or shuffle. I dont say target or call incs cause Im afraid say anything.

There rules thats been in place for always, i agree it sucks but naming and shaming can easily be doctored.

The Neural Silencer is more for preventing other players from using abilities like Tricks of the Trade, Leap of Faith etc on you.

My guess is the MK3 variant is just an up to date one for newer Engineering as the previous one is from WoD.

Ah I see, could grief with tricks of trade or misdirection too if it prevents it, but I think for threat need to be in same group

Back in Vanilla there was an hour or two wait, and boom, the Gm was next to you ingame, then you talked about the problem, they solved it, then they gave you some fireworks and stuff for fun before leaving with a fun message.

They don’t own Twitter though, no company likes bad publicity on any social media that they can’t control.

If Blizzard aren’t prepared to listen to someone asking them to help then they deserve to be shamed for the world to see.

No idea why you are itching for a fight with me, but telling others to do what you suggested can get them banned that is all i am saying. I think i will place you on mute far to aggressive. I told you i agreed it sucks but you still carry on you do you but you will from now on talking to air as i will not see it.

That would only happen in raids or dungeons not with problems you are having now, i am sorry you are having a bad time truely i am but blizzard are not the bad people in this , although there wait times are its the people that are harrasing you.
