I disagree. Gender is what you are, you are either male or female. Sure some men might be more effeminate just as some females might be more masculine. That doesn’t mean to say they are on some spectrum of gender. They will either have a pen!s (cant say that word… oh the good old leftys at it again) or a vag!na(smh), thus signifying what their gender is.
My mum was a tomboy when she was little, she often says if she was a little girl in this day and age she would be taken to one side and told she is the wrong gender.
Thankfully she grew up when the world still made sense, and children were not abused by doctors and guardians who sway them into thinking they are something they are not and then change theirs bodys forever more with drugs and surgery.
I don’t deny they exist, they are there. I also don’t deny there are people with mental disorders, they are there too. Making up negative words to describe those who don’t believe a newfangled modern interpretation on what a mental disorder is, doesn’t justify their right to change society into one more suited to their political agenda.

In our western society you are seen as either male or female by most people. This is not set in stone though. In India for example a third gender is officially recognized by the government. It’s called Hijra.
We call people men or women based on how they present themselves in society, without knowing what their biological sex is. You don’t know if that girl you see walking down the street has female reproductive organs or not. But, she has long hair, she wears a dress, she has make-up on, so you see and identify her as a woman. These characteristics used to define her gender aren’t biological, they are cultural. And very malleable, without clearly defined borders between them all.
But again, you’re conflating biological sex with gender. And even the differences between biological sexes that make a person biologically male or female aren’t clearly defined. There are so many different variables possible. And the way we assign meaning to these is based on culture, and thus subject to possible changes.

Just to add in we do not identify women for those reasons most intersex people are medically identified by both muscle density muscle bone structure and much more… Its not as simple as taking one away and keeping the other but you will find that your sex will be based off more than a tiny Thomas the tank engine to a ditch.

Remaining in the EU is still the best course of action we can’t take due to idiots who thought leaving would make a difference.
Now take a long hard look at the deal…and you tell me the UK is actually leaving the EU.

Oh yes, I agree. There are so many possible variables both physically and mentally. You can make general categorizations based on those variables that can be useful (for medical purposes for example) but I find the dualistic view on sex and gender to be untenable if you look further than the absolute basics.
I don’t really want to cite the facts I have for those who beleive in being something they’re not in my view as its a touch subject on a heavly monitored location though I would suggest looking up some govern studies on both 40% rates once certain individuals obtain all rights acceptance and support and also Scandinavian studies shown that these people who have these notions at a young age more than 80% at the age of maturity desist from it also.
Though I’m not a firm believer in their being more than two, I’m a guy of science I know the understanding of Chromos though with in my synonymous its a mental issue more than a natural issue.

We didn’t vote for a deal, we voted to leave. The remainer-maybot who is undermining democracy for the greater good is trying her hardest to scupper brexit. We should have left in 2016 and sorted out the paper work after.

Everyone is entitled to vote saying someone should not be allowed is unfair discriminatory and just down right nonsensical as it affects their own life and not just your own.
The vote should never have happened…
It was allowed to go ahead because those that said sure go for it, didn’t actually think the UK population would be dumb enough to actually vote to leave.

I remember reading some articles about studies that seem to say “that transgender people neurologically relate to the sex they identify with rather than their biological sex.” (just looked it up)
Basically certain areas of the brain correspond with the gender or sex they identify with, rather than their biological sex. Suggesting that the biological and social components are interwoven with eachother and that this happens at a very young age.
This is all very complicated…
