Is it really that hard to grasp the concept of having more than 4 friends?
Back in my days when I was 18, I had a friend group that was like 20 people. We’d hang out together, went to parties, on holiday to different locations etc.
These days I’m not that interested in big RL friend groups anymore, but there are many people I consider friends online. So yes, actual friends, not just a random player online. I get that is hard to grasp for you, but it exists 
Nobody is saying you shouldn’t play with friends, learn to read English. There are places for groups of over 5 friends, they’re called rated. As ever though, you’ll come up with any old slimy excuse as to why you don’t want to play with friends against other groups of friends… we all know why, the fact you claim to be over 20 and still act like that in a game is beyond comprehension, it’s literally schoolboy craic.

Maybe you should learn to read all the posts where people say that it’s not actually friends to try and justify their bad reasoning.
Epic Battlegrounds do not have a rated variant, so there’s no alternative there, try again.

I have no problem with people organising mass PVP, I remember proper organised mass PVP at Tarren Mill, The Barrens, Elwynn Forest, organised raids on capital cities and there’s never been anything like it since. I have a problem with people organising mass groups of well selected specs with BIS on discord, just to go play beginner BG’s against low geared noobs.
And that’s not an insult, that’s just pointing out the blindingly obvious.

There’s no alternative to mass PvP that doesn’t involve meeting random undergeared players. Wargames will never happen, nor will open-world PvP at that scale as there are no objectives.
Like premades care a toss about objectives. They wipe the enemy then proceed to the GY to farm them until the cows come home.

Isn’t Battleground Commander one of them? Pretty sure that still works and was created by a certain DH posting in this thread.

Something I learned over the years. You can never expect meaningful changes in WoW during an ongoing expansion. But have to wait for the next one. Expansion patches are more like a roadmap for 2 years with set things to be released. Because Blizzards actually works on next expansions and not very much on the current one.
So, when I see major issues still there at the first major patch of an expansion (~3 months in) i pretty much give up on that particular expansion because I KNOW those things will not change/get fixed until next expansion or even later. Especially PvP related stuff!
Shuffle getting fixed? Not a chance before “The War Within” is released. Or even later, if at all. So, thinks like premades in random BGs is an issue for YEARS already. Still nothing, not even a word about it in a forum post or whatever.
I rather play Blitz instead of random BGs, there is no longer a point in doing so.
