Why would they remove something that actually makes players a little bit happier in game? Endless nightmare of frustrating grind week after week happening again.
I still canât get over the fact that they removed the mass sum and now this.
Good. Almost every single one of my BRs was usually also just the usual Gold + AP bollocks anyway. Only 3 times out of like 200+ did i get an epic from it.
if you want gear exclusivity, go play classic.
if you want to never find gear, go play diablo 2.
i dont know why people say the game has too much gear in it. people say ALL THE TIME âremove the RNGâ. the RNG is killing the chance to get the good ones.
they are ruining the game. ill probably still play it, but honestly, i dont know how enjoyable it would be for meâŚ
it seems to me blizzard is listening mainly to the twitch and youtube influencers instead of the real majority.
Until you get for 2 weeks in a row useless drops for the same slot in the weekly vault and then the insane rage against Ion pile up and youâll either quit or smash the screen.
Maybe they shouldâve done something else in stead of removing it, make it a much lower drop chance or so for gear to drop and add other stuff to it like a mount or w/e. I thought it was helpfull.
i like it ! less loot at raids and dungeons , i had read that lowlvl items for profs are intresting again to make , also the mats then for collecting i think then and more to do in the old zones ! ofc there will still be drops in raids but much rarer i think
Wait a minute, so because loot is being reduced slightly, youâre going to behave as if Torghast isnât a thing? Youâre not going to do M+ even though doing multiple nets you better itemisation through the cache than in BFA? (And letâs be honest, the cache chest is what itâs about, the dungeon drops are placeholder gear) and youâre only going to raid once per reset in the face of reduced bonus rolls despite the fact that raiding is where bonus rolls matter the most?
i swear half the people who complain about this stuff donât even try to be coherent. Like, complain. But at least try and formulate something akin to a logical string.
Youâre saying thereâs nothing to do (despite the fact players routinely complained BFA had too much gumph in the way of the content, which has now been stripped away so you can spend more time doing that content) - and another mode has been added in Torghast, so by âless to doâ itâs pretty much having less daily chores to do, because the incentive to do multiple m+ this expo is stronger. Unless of course youâre only interested in raiding (but that doesnât mean thereâs nothing to do, just that you arenât interested in it).
And then you defend raiding as the sole activity, despite the fact that raid loot has been just as hard as mythic+ in terms of scarcity, and the bonus roll was arguably more valuable than in M+ due to no repeats in a week. Iâm just not following you.
If M+ is not worth doing due to these changes, then why on earth is raiding worth doing? You seem to be saying that these changes (that largley affect both equally overall) make one of these modes bad (oddly the one you can repeat) and the other remains ok (oddly the one you canât repeat to counter the reduced drops) I donât get it.
You are aware that Raiding loot is being reduced in drop% as well yes? And with bonus roll removal thatâs a major hit to raiding loot drop amounts.
well i think this is only in the begin , later we will get the extra rolls back i think , there will be many updates in the next 6 months , i hope that the extra rolls only can happen in the premade raids and not in the LFR
Itâs to slow down raiding progression, so i donât think it would return until a new raid is released, ie. when raid 2 appear, bonus rolls are allowed for raid 1.
Blizzard want to move away from the model where in a single clear people could be picking up 5 or more items in a single run with bonus rolls (RNG allowing) because even if not everyoone is that lucky, for those who are it means they need maybe 2-3 weeks in the raid and theyâre done. Raiding is not intended to be moved on from that quickly, or at least it wasnât in the past.
Blizzard seem to be going back towards the move into mythic raiding takes time, not being something that happens a month into the raid release. BFA showed us the extreme of this and what happens - first third of patch people are progressing the raid and the last two thirds you start to see a massive amount of boosting for the raids because they have very quickly become trivial for a reasonable amount of the playerbase. Maybe not so much with mythic+ but heroic raiding in BFA generally speaking was not treated as something of import- people would be offering boosts for it fairly quickly, it didnât represent anything much in particular.
This change wonât stop the boosting, but itâs going to stop it appearing until towards the end of the patch because people arenât going to be able to gear up so quickly they can offer such services. heroic raiding will in itself mean something again as it will be a necessary step into mythic raiding, and youâll spend more time there before you move on.
it will be waste of time doing mythic + considering how you can get duplicates from weekly gear. just logging in for raid will be much more effective . and thats the route people will take.
and thorgast is a joke - once you have your bis legendaries you can basickly ignore it.
