Just curious what it’s like on other servers. For instance on Mograine there’s at least 6 or 7 human rogue bots farming the ogres at Dreadmaul Rock 24/7. Been reporting, but as usual nothing happening
Same situation with the Strat live bots and yetis in alterac being camped by dwarf hunters

Blizzard do ban bots and do listnene to reports but they sure have a very passive and frustrating system to handle bots.
nice way how to say that they almost dont give a :]:]:]:]

But don’t you dare to go for a piss in AV.
The way they treat the bot problem is a joke.

You won’t get banned for AFK’ing 1min in AV once bro.
If you’re AFK’ing for 80% of the game just barely moving enough to not get auto-kicked on the other hand…
Don’t tale it too literally, just making fun of the situation.

The Weekend of 4 April I reported a “train” of hunter bots in 1K Needles, following the exact same route, turning on the exact same stone for botting.
Few days later I saw the same bots in Shimmering Flats.
I’ve also encountered TENS of Rogues farming lower area, low value mobs.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen this many active bots in the 15 years I’ve played WoW.
At this point I think Blizzard just stopped caring. Or just enjoy the extra income.

THere is only 1 bot on stonespine that I know of. Also dont think I really care?
Why should I even care?
Some person getting gold? Ok. ,

I do care, alot, for me im trying to make some lowlvl gold by farming blindweed and skinning in Swamp of Sorrows, and i constantly have to compete with 4-5 bots for herbs and beasts. If it were players i would accept it, but it being a computer program youre competing against, that just taste very wrong. But yes in general i guess it doesnt hurt the casual players, except, do anybody like cheaters? If i see a guy cheating at something im also competing in, i would be pissed, no matter what activity.

Why are they farming ogres af Dreadmaul Rock? what do they drop that is worht farming??
Librams/cloths/darkmoon cards/random greens/blues. One of my guidies farmed them librams to sell for his epic mount. It’s a pretty good spot, I farm them for soulshards in-between battlegrounds on my lock, got a few darkmoon cards myself from them!
Okay thx for the your answer

This train could be multiboxing which is not against ToS (real shame) so it’s legal.
It’s always been sort of easy distinguishing a multiboxer from a bot train, even though bot trains are fairly new to me. Example ive never suspected a multiboxer to be botting, and how is a multiboxer not being against ToS a shame?
Because no one likes multiboxers, they ruin economy as much as botters so it’s a shame they are allowed.
They also ruin PvP. Who enjoys being one-shotted by 12 mages?
I meant a train with like 30 yards between each character.
I know what a multibox cluster looks like
Wondering, how exactly do they ruin economy?
:___D 10 char
(By providing endless amounts of stuff to sell on the AH?)
Also, those people can then afford to pay senseless sums of gold for stuff they want, like Encrypted Twilight Text, Sandworm Meat or Bijous, ufcking up the markets.
