Nothing they said about Keyring. It’s not item to obtain .
It’s a feature used during 1.11 and 1.12 Patch , same as all Spells and Talents and Items are currently 1.12.
Why not then early spells and items then?! If that’s the case.?!
They said the keyring – specifically addressing the keyring – will come at a later time, not necessarily a later Phase, but with the release of DM and not that of the keyring it is all but guaranteed it is coming in a later Phase.
Not Phase 2, but a later phase. But it will most likely be phase 2.

Implementing the keyring was too hard for the 2 trainee devs that worked on Classic.
Having no keyring makes no sense since the game is based on 1.12 as Killerduki said (Btw, hi Killerduki! I still don’t like you though).
That being said, I’m glad it at least gets added sooner rather than later.

There are many 1.12 things that are not in 1.13, the one beside no key ring that is the most anoying is that they went with the pre-1.12.1 riding skill system. ( instead of purchasing an expensive skill and having cheap mounts )

True. But while an argument could be made in favor of the old mount system, I see no possible argument for having no keyring, this is why it’s kinda puzzling to me.

based on the fact i currently have like 4-6 keys occupying my bank slots, and that i often forget to pick them up for specific dungeons, i would not mind keyrings being implemented ASAP… look, i am all for no changes and all that - mainly when it comes to pvp, talent, spells, pve, dps/healing/tanking, etc. etc. but when we’re talking about stuff like the mailbox auto-opening your mail and things like keyrings i really see no harm being done overall, unless you consider bag slot space an impacting factor in the vanilla pvp experience.
i happen to be an engineer, and i sometimes like to offtank in dungeon groups, therefore i keep a ton of sappers, bombs, elixirs, potions etc. and a whole set of tanking gear with me at all times - this takes up about 2 of my 4, 16 slot bags, not to mention my main bag has 4 slots ‘wasted’ on the totems + the reagents, water and tools i have to keep with me at all times, i have about 2 bags that i can carry all my loot in… and god forbid i make a target dummy and want to salvage it after it dies, which sometimes instantly lock down another 4 slots in those 2 usable bags… im starting to drivel on here, but the point is; i have so much crap i have to carry around and so little space for loot.
i found myself having to resort to mailbox banking due to the 1 hour mail delivery time as well…
this would be the one change i would welcome… and its honestly not asking for much nor setting a so called precedent for other, more drastic changes to the game.
